Treyarch have released another trailer for their upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 title, and glimpses are shown of two new Multiplayer maps.
Released on September 24, the trailer is full of clips from Black Ops 4’s three modes – Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies.
In the Multiplayer portion of the video, the two, previously unannounced, maps are shown, at the 36 and 40 second marks respectively.
The first map is shown to have blue buildings, while the second appears to be located in a forest-like area that contains a river or some sort of body of water.
This is the first time these new maps have been shown or mentioned, which goes against what David Vonderhaar said in a recent interview with GameInformer.
Vonderhaar, who is the Studio Design Director at Treyarch, had previously stated that all 11 maps that would be available in Black Ops 4 at launch have already been announced.

With these two new maps now thrown into the mix, it’s no longer clear how many will be in the Multiplayer once it is released.
Previously it was believed that the game would include seven original maps (Arsenal, Contraband, Frequency, Gridlock, Hacienda, Payload, and Seas Side), four remastered maps (Firing Range, Jungle, Slums, and Summit), and the return of the iconic Nuketown sometime in November.
Call of Duty fans will just have to wait until the game drops on October 12 to see exactly how many, and which, maps will be available in the Multiplayer mode.
