Long time OpTic Gaming member Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter got an opportunity to see what it’s like to play against his own team when he faced off against them in the finals of an online tournament.
The American was teaming up with iLLeY and Cellium for a 3v3 Search and Destroy tournament and the trio managed to progress to the grand finals of the competition.
Unfortunately, waiting for them on the other side of the bracket was none other than his current OpTic teammates – Scump, Dashyy and TJHaLy.
Game one ended up being an extremely close affair, with OpTic racing into a 2-0 lead thanks to some impressive plays by captain Seth ‘Scump’ Abner.
The teams traded back and forth throughout the round, with Crimsix and his cohorts winning two round back-to-back to finally take a 5-4 lead, leaving them needing only one round to secure the victory.

OpTic were able to steal the next round from Porter’s squad, leading to a tense Round 11 between Crimsix and his teammates. Cellium was able to pick up both Scump and Dashy in quick succession, leaving Crim to clean up TJHaLy with a cry of: “Let’s go baby!”
Scump and his squad were able to win the second game of the series, but in the end fell to Crimsix, Cellium and iLLeY in the third and final map.
While it was fun to see Crimsix go head-to-head against Scump once again, they’ll need to get on the same page at CWL Las Vegas, the first competitive event of the 2018/19 Call of Duty season.
