Another major Warzone event is now in the books as Tommey, Almond, and newbz dominated the first-ever ‘Z&Z Invitational’ hosted by Call of Duty veterans ZooMaa and Methodz. Here’s everything you need to catch up on the star-studded tournament.

As one of the final events in September, CoD stars ZooMaa and Methodz teamed with BoomTV to host their first major Warzone tournament.
$20,000 was up for grabs as Warzone’s top talent pushed for all-important kills and wins. Here’s a complete recap of how the event unfolded.

Z&Z $20K Warzone event: Results & Recap
With six custom lobbies stacked full of Warzone’s best players, each and every lobby was intense from start to finish. While those with more customs experience took a lead early on, that didn’t stop popular streamers and even CDL pros from showcasing their skills.
Newly minted LA Thieves star Envoy pushed his way into the top 10, the only CDL talent to do so. A huge showing in the final two maps in particular, boosted their score up at 88 points in total.

Although results were fairly close among the top Trios, there was one team that set themselves apart in a big way. Tommey, Almond, and newbz cruised to an early lead and didn’t let up. They wrapped the event with 193 points in first place, a whopping 85 points ahead of anyone else.

With Methodz and ZooMaa serving as hosts for the event, fans were able to watch their Twitch streams to keep on top of the action. Moreover, each and every competitor had their own streams live throughout the event as well.

It all kicked off on Tuesday, September 21 at 12PM PT. With six games in total, the event ran for roughly five hours all up.

The Z&Z Invitational dropped Trios into a series of custom lobbies. As you’d expect, kills awarded points while higher placements added multipliers to each lobby.
Only the top five teams were able to claim some cash for their troubles and we’ve got the prize pool breakdown below.
- 1st: $9,000
- 2nd: $6,000
- 3rd: $3,000
- 4th: $1,500
- 5th: $500
No different from the World Series of Warzone event, this custom series featured an identical point multiplier system. The full breakdown is as follows:
- 1st Place: 2x Points multiplier for that game
- 2nd Place – 5th place: 1.5x Points multiplier for that game
- 6th Place -15th Place: 1.3x Points multiplier for that game
- 16th Place -30th Place: 1.1x Points multiplier for that game
