For a car enthusiast like YouTuber Vehicle Virgins, it can be hard to part ways with your beloved vehicle, but he ended up having a good reason why he did it.
In a series of videos uploaded on Jan 22 and 23, viewers discovered that the YouTuber picked up a pair of brand-new cars, but had to trade in his beloved Ferrari to do so.
The Californian ended up getting two new cars out of it, so, in the end, it ended up being worth it. The first vehicle he picked up was a Rolls Royce.
He explains that he had his eyes on a Rolls Royce Wraith for quite a while and the perfect opportunity to purchase one presented itself here.
“I’ve always wanted a Wraith,” he said. “When I got my S-class, a Wraith is what I wanted. When I got my E63, as funny as it sounds, a Wraith is what I wanted. And, finally, it’s in the price range. This is 2015 with 16,000 miles on it that I can afford.”

It ended up being a twist for viewers because he revealed he had to trade in his Ferrari 458 Special to do so. Midway through the second video, he explains the decision to do that came down to him not having a ton of time to enjoy the car.
“I tried to stomach it, put a bunch more miles on it and it just like, I don’t know, I can’t drive it as much as I’d like to,” he said. “I’m officially done. Trading it in for the Wraith and some cash and something else.”

As it turns out, the “something else” ended up being the Ferrari 812 Superfast.
“Okay, so, I kinda lied,” he said at the 6:44 mark. “I kinda sorta got an 812 Superfast. I have wanted a v12 Ferrari for a long time and after having one of these for a week from Ferrari I was like that’s gotta be the best GT car ever made.”
To summarize, he ended up getting two new cars out of his one, so it’s a fair tradeoff. Let’s just hope the YouTuber can actually take some time to enjoy this one more than he did his previous Ferrari.
