Demon Slayer is one of the most popular anime in the world, and a fan of the show has shown their appreciation for Mitsuri Kanroji with an incredible cosplay of the character.
It’s hard to think of an anime that has captured the worldwide audience quite like Demon Slayer, which burst onto the scene in 2019 when its first series released, with fans enamored with its dark themes and compelling characters and storylines.
The series follows Tanjiro Kamado, who vows to avenge his family who were brutally killed by a gang of demons, who then turned his sister into one of the devastating creatures. Desperate to find a cure for Nezuko and return her to human form, Tanjiro becomes a Demon Slayer and enlists the help of these fearsome warriors like Mitsui Kanroji as he attempts to save his sister and get revenge on the dangerous monsters that devastated his family.
While searching for help for his sister, the young man enrolls in the Demon Corps, a group of the world’s most powerful warriors who are determined to save the planet and all humanity from the evil that wreaks havoc. Among the corps are the Pillars, those classed as the strongest swordsmen known to man, and on their travels, the siblings eventually come across Mitsuri Kanroji, who is known as the Love Pillar.
Instagram user ‘wrtryhard’ is clearly a fan of the character, showing off her incredible take on the character, captured in such stunning detail that it looks like it was lifted straight off the screen and brought into real life.

Wrtryhard is wearing the same pink and green hair that the character has in the anime, braided into two plaits that fall down across his shoulders. Her costume is also a faithful recreation, complete with her white kimono and black Demon Corps dress. She even has the character’s vibrant green eyes, adding another level of detail to this incredible cosplay.
Demon Slayer may have become a worldwide phenomenon in 2019 with the release of the anime series, but originally started life as a manga in 2016.
With fans eager for more stories from the tale of Tanjiro and Nekuzo, the good news is that there are plans for a sequel film to be released later on in 2020.
