A My Hero Academia cosplayer brought the frog-like hero Froppy to life with their incredibly accurate portrayal of the amphibious character.
Froppy, also known as Tsuyu Asui, is the anime’s lovable Rainy Season Hero who takes on a frog-like form. Her quirk (hero power) allows her to stick to walls, jump long distances, secrete sticky liquid, and camouflage herself.
Cosplayer Ashmi ‘ashmicos’ decided to show off her take of the loveable amphibian, and it’s amazing just how accurate it is to the TV show.
A major part of Froppy’s costume is her huge goggles that sit upon her head, and anyone who’s seen the show will recognise these immediately. The cosplayer recreated them with insane accuracy, and even painted detailing on them to make it look as though the lenses reflect light like in the show.
Our favorite thing about the outfit is the green bodysuit, as it houses all the details from the hero’s costume – including the webbed feet and frog legs.

Ashmi also added the character’s arm cuffs, waistband, and neck brace to make them stand out and give them a 3D touch for more realism and accuracy.
While the costume artist’s outfit has a more homemade feel, it just adds a personal touch to an already-badass character and ties the whole look together perfectly – we love it.
My Hero Academia finally returned for its fourth season on October 12 after a lengthy wait that left anime fans itching for more after the cliffhanger of the third chapter.
