Ryan ‘Freakazoid’ Abadir has joined up with a new when reports surfaced that Yassine ‘Subroza’ Taoufik was expected to leave the roster.
Freakazoid had, most recently, been playing for Swole Patrol, alongside his brother Austin ‘Cooper-‘ Abadir. However, Cooper- left the roster to join eUnited on November 1.
The rumored move was first reported by VPEsports’s Jarek ‘DeKay’ Lewis on December 19. However, Freakazoid took to Twitter only a few hours later to dismiss the report. “Do the people know something before me? Lol,” the former Cloud9 player responded.
However, finally, on January 18, Ghost Gaming tweeted out the announcement video of their new member – making the long-time rumored move a reality. “No need for an introduction, welcome to #GhostGang @FreakazoidA,” the organization posted.

The North-American squad have improved notably in recent months under the leadership of in-game leader Joshua ‘Steel’ Nissan. The team finished the online portion of the ESL Pro League Season 8 in second-place but missed out on the IEM Katowice Major cycle.
The new-look Ghost Gaming roster will see their first taste of action on January 19 when they take on FaZe Clan in their opening game at the iBUYPOWER Masters 2019 tournament.
