Olof ‘Olofmeister’ Kajbjer is a Counter-Strike legend. While playing the starring role in Fnatic’s dominant era, Olof hit a peak that many pros can only dream of. But after achieving everything and then some, injury struck, which sprained the Swede both inside and outside of the server.
Despite facing a plethora of challenges, Olof continued to dominate for FaZe after his switch. Here’s the story of how Olofmeister conquered CS:GO.
The esports player was originally thrust into the spotlight when he joined LGB esports in 2013. Now, with 25 big event trophies, 6 MVP awards, and the incredible honor of being named HLTVS’s best-ranked player of 2015, Kajbjer is a legend in the community.

Originally a lesser-known Swedish team, they still were able to hold their own. During the first major of DreamHack in Winter 2013, they reached the quarter-final stage, taking a map away from the undisputed Ninjas in Pyjamas.
In the end, we can only speculate about how far Olofmeister would have gone in the community. Had injury not plagued the champion from bowing out of future runnings, would FaZe Clan have continued its great run?
