Exclusive new Destiny 2 Twitch Prime loot leaked for 2020

Destiny 2 and Twitch are teaming up again in 2020 to bring players exclusive loot in the game, and now all of the offerings for 2020 have officially been leaked following an early announcement from the streaming site itself.

News of the Destiny 2 Twitch Prime bundle was broken by video games journalist Paul Tassi, after Twitch themselves revealed details about the loot in a tweet on January 28.

Shortly after releasing the tweet it was deleted, but that came too late to keep the news from getting to the Destiny 2 community, thanks in part to Tassi.

In addition to the news about the bundle, information about what exactly what items would be coming to Destiny in 2020 for Twitch Prime players was leaked by Twitch affiliate JpDeathBlade.

According to Destiny’s official Twitter, each Prime drop will come with rewards ranging from Exotic weapons, Ghosts, ships, Sparrows, emotes, and weapon ornaments from previous seasons.

So, while the new drops won’t offer players anything brand new, it will give more recent Destiny converts the chance to collect items that were previously only available to veteran players.

There are 24 items included in the Twitch Prime Destiny 2 drops for 2020, and players will receive four items per drop, per month.

After some quick maths, this comes out to four free Destiny 2 items for Twitch Prime members for six months, from February to July 2020.

Some Destiny players are disappointed that there isn’t a new exotic available for Twitch Prime subscribers, but newer players seem happy with the chance to earn items that were previously only available to veteran players.

The new Twitch Prime bundles will give new Destiny players a chance to catch up to the veterans.

Of course, in order to claim Twitch Prime loot you’ll need a Prime subscription, and your Amazon Prime account must be linked to your Twitch account if it isn’t already. This can be done by visiting the Twitch Prime site and signing into your respective accounts.

Your Twitch Prime account must also be linked to your Destiny 2 account in order to collect loot for the game. This can be done by going to the Connections tab of your settings on Twitch, and following the instructions to link to your Bungie account.
