Many dungeons in the game offer an Aspect item as a reward for clearing it and these special items can be attached to your gear, providing very specific upgrades that will help you perfect your build.

Not all Aspects can be found by clearing a dungeon and defeating its boss, many drop already attached to Legendary Gear and can either be used as they are, or removed and added to other items.
