One lucky Diablo 4 player has come into Season 3 with a visual bug that offers something players have been asking for since launch. Though we suppose luck is subjective here.
Diablo 4 Season 3 is officially live and players are pouring back to discover what the aptly named Season of the Construct has to offer. Along with a brand new Battle Pass to grind through, this new season comes with a new story focused on the mystical elemental constructs of the famed Sorcerer Zoltun Kulle.
Thanks to an interesting new mechanic that sees players saddled with a mechanical companion known as the Seneschal, players will never be alone in Diablo 4 Season 3. Of course, to counter the spike in power it’s sure to offer, Blizzard has launched a new patch complete with balance changes for each class and some bug fixes.
Although, that doesn’t mean the game is free of bugs. Reddit user u/Freeloader_ kicked off Diablo 4 Season 3 with a visual glitch that zoomed the Isometric view way out.
Interestingly, Diablo 4 players didn’t respond to the bug with tirades about a broken game, as would happen in ‘the before times’. They were actually pretty envious of the player’s new perspective with some going as far as to call them “lucky”.
“I would pay actual money for this,” one jealous user commented. “Never close it. You’ve got a good thing going,” suggested another.

Diablo 4 players have been requesting options for a zoomed-out perspective since the game’s launch. Many players in the comments are urging u/Freeloader_ to keep the situation quiet, lest it be “fixed” in one of Diablo 4 Season 3’s later patches.
“Stop talking about it or they’re gonna patch it,” one player cautioned. “Shhh don’t tell anyone,” joked another.
The bug is reminiscent of another in the game that existed prior to the launch of Diablo 4 Season 3. When fighting a boss, the game’s camera remained in the zoomed-out perspective used when fighting large enemies and returned to normal after entering a dungeon.
u/Freeloader_ has qualified that they’ve fought no bosses at this early point in the season, and have entered dungeons but the camera position remains the same. Here’s hoping Blizzard decides to ignore this one for the “lucky” few who experience it.
