Diablo 4’s Rogue class had an unannounced cosmetic change that disgruntled players are calling a “nerf”.
Diablo 4 is in the midst of its third major content update, the aptly named Season of the Construct. As with every new season, it’s brought some major changes to the game.
New mechanics including a mechanical companion known as the Seneschal and challenging new dungeons called Vaults are just some of the new additions. Those aren’t the only changes that came during Diablo 4 Season 3 however and players have only just discovered another.
Initially posted to the r/D4Rogue Subreddit, players are now complaining about a cosmetic change to the Rogue class that went unannounced in the patch notes. The undergarments for the Rogue’s feminine model have been made less revealing.
Diablo 4’s Rogue garnered some minor infamy last year when players began thirsting over a “lewd” set of transmogs available in the in-game store. This new change sees the Rogue’s more revealing underwear changed to what some players are calling “granny panties” came as a shock to Diablo 4 diehards.
Some complaints were focused solely on the idea that players missed out on some extra skin. Others were a little more nuanced. Focusing on the hypocrisy of a change like this in a game with extreme violence and horrific imagery.

“I never understand the need to make women’s outfits or, in this case, underwear more modest in a mature or violent game,” one player said. “I am saying this as a woman myself, stop freaking out about flesh when a piece of media is full of murder and other horrible acts.”
Most players don’t seem concerned with the nature of the change at all. Their indignation is more at Blizzard spending time on a supposedly insignificant change when Diablo 4 has more pressing concerns in their mind.
To be fair, it probably takes a lot more effort to fix the structural issues that players have with the game than it does to change an underwear model.
It should also be noted the only time you’ll really see a class’s undergarments is if you aren’t using leg armor and affix slots are a pretty big trade for some almost-nudity.
