Diablo 4 developers have temporarily disabled the Vault of the Loom’s World Tier 4 version due to connectivity troubles.
Diablo 4 Season 3 launched to mixed reception from the community, with many blasting the quality of the new content and gameplay balancing. Fortunately, a series of hotfixes and a recent patch seem to be turning things around.
Several glitches have plagued the new season as well, however. Early on, players were reporting issues concerning invisible bosses and progression-blocking quest bugs.
Now yet another trouble spot has reared its head, specifically in the form of disconnection errors affecting a certain Vault Dungeon.
Blizzard deactivates Diablo 4’s Vault of the Loom
D4 players have reported facing connectivity issues while navigating Season 3’s Vault of the Loom. Some claim they were “screwed over” by the error, as members of their group randomly disconnected, thus preventing progress.

At the very least, players can rest assured that developers are working on a solution. Community Manager Adam Fletcher confirmed as much in a Blizzard Forums post, noting that the studio has “temporarily disabled access to the World Tier 4 version of the Vault of the Loom [to] investigate some connection issues players are experiencing.”
As of writing, it’s unclear how long Diablo 4 players will have to wait for Vault of the Loom’s return. But since access will remain down temporarily, the wait shouldn’t persist for too long.
This announcement from Fletcher came soon after the developer issued a PSA, advising players against getting rid of their unused Uber Uniques. The Community Manager withheld the specifics, yet teased that an Uber Unique-related update of some kind is in development.
