The next Campfire Chat for Diablo 4 will center on the 2.0 PTR (Public Test Realm), Vessel of Hatred, progression changes, and more.
With Vessel of Hatred’s release drawing near, Blizzard Entertainment has begun sharing more information regarding its plans for the expansion.
During Gamescom, the Diablo 4 studio announced the return of Mercenaries, shared details about the new Dark Citadel and Kurast Undercity modes, and confirmed that a party finder feature is in the works.
All of the above merely scratches the surface, though, so Blizzard will broadcast a Campfire Chat at the end of August to inform the community of what awaits in the 2.0 PTR and beyond. Here’s how fans can tune in to the livestream.
Diablo 4’s 2.0 PTR livestream date
On Thursday, August 29, Blizzard will host a Campfire Chat that dives deeper into Update 2.0 and the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion changes.
Similar to previous Diablo 4 broadcasts, the stream will kick off at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM EST.

What to expect from Blizzard’s Campfire Chat
In a post via Blizzard News, the developer noted Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred DLC will add progression updates that permanently alter “how [players] level and progress throughout the world.”
A deep dive into how these changes impact the game at large will feature in the August 29 broadcast.
Community Manager Adam Fletcher later revealed the stream will also provide a preview of the Public Test Realm for Patch 2.0. This PTR will count as the third of Diablo 4’s test realms, to date.
Fletcher will host the stream, joined by Lead Live Game Designer Colin Finer, Systems Designer Aislyn Hall, and Game Designers Charles Dunn and Jeevun Sidhu. As usual, the end of the chat will feature a Q&A segment.
