Disney Dreamlight Valley is filled with resources for you to craft, fish, mine, or collect – but not all are easy to collect, like Zinc for example.
Zinc is a useful resource to have for your DDV adventure, as it lets you craft, is used in vital ingots, and can even let you complete certain quests. However, getting hold of it can be tricky, especially when you don’t know where to look.
So, to help you along your way to defeating Jafar or destroying the Forgetting, here’s all you need to know about where to find Zinc and what it’s used for.
Zinc locations
Zinc can be found when mining gem spots in Eternity Isle, namely The Grove, The Lagoon, The Grasslands, or The Promenade. It’s worth noting that these are entirely random so be sure to grab the Pickaxe Polish to increase your chances.
On top of this, unlike Diamonds, Emeralds, and those kinds of gems, Zinc doesn’t appear in mining nodes. So you’ll want to mine every spot you come across to increase your chances.
Importantly, since Zinc is found on Eternity Isle, it’s only available for those with access to the paid expansion. Though, if you need Zinc you’ll likely already have access.
