Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Dapper Delights update added a new recipe for seafood lovers: Seafood Boil.
To no one’s surprise, the addition of Tiana brought with it some new recipes. This includes Seafood Boil, a popular and delicious Cajun dish that usually mixes things like crab legs and shrimp with vegetables and spice.
Whether you’re looking for the perfect way to welcome Tiana to your Valley or trying to complete your recipe list, here’s how to make Seafood Boil in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Seafood Boil recipe & ingredients
To cook Seafood Boil, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Any Seafood
- Any Spice
- Corn
- Potato
You can pick anything from the Seafood category, such as Shrimp, Lobster, and Crab. Alternatively, the shells you can forage from Dazzle Beach (Clam, Oyster, and Scallop) also count as Seafood, making them an easy option.
Spices can be foraged from across the Valley and Eternity Isle, with different ones being found in each Biome. These include Garlic (Forest of Valor), Oregano (Plaza), and Cumin (Ancient’s Landing).
Corn Seeds can be purchased from Dazzle Beach for 16 Star Coins each and take 12 minutes to grow. It’s sometimes sold at the same Goofy Stall for 24 Coins.

Potato Seeds can be purchased from the Forgotten Lands and (if you have the A Rift in Time expansion) the Wild Tangle. They cost 55 Coins and take 35 minutes to grow. You’ll sometimes find Potatoes at the Forgotten Lands stall for 189 Coins.

Once you have the ingredients, you’ll also need a Coal Ore.
If you don’t have any Coal, you can find it in any mining spot, though you may have to try a few before you get any.
Then, bring everything to a Cooking Station or Ancient Cooker and use it to prepare the meal.
Note that higher-quality ingredients – those with higher sell prices and energy gains – will result in higher-quality meals.
That’s not a big deal if you’re just making Seafood Boil to give as a gift or complete a task, but those who plan to use it to restore energy, gain a hover boost, or earn Star Coins should take a closer look at what they’re putting in the pot.
