How to unlock Timon and Pumbaa in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley Timon and PumbaaDexerto / Gameloft

Two new villagers have arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but unlocking Timon and Pumbaa isn’t a walk in the jungle.

When new characters are unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley, they don’t instantly join your world, at least most don’t. Usually, inviting them requires some quests, recipes, crafting, or even puzzle solving. This is entirely the case for Lion Kings Timon and Pumbaa, who may be all about no worries but love to add challenges before joining the Valley.

So, to help you embrace the Hakuna Matata motto, here’s how to unlock Timon and Pumbaa in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to unlock Timon and Pumbaa

How to complete Finding Old Friends quest

Speak to Simba who will talk about his friends, Timon and Pumbaa. He thinks they’re lost in the Lion King Realm and asks you to go back to check. So, head back and visit the Lion King Realm inside the Dream Castle.

Step 1: Find Timon and Pumbaa

Once inside, go through the cave on your left and head up the path to the characters and speak to them. They’ll declare you’re too stressed for them to join you, and decide to put you through Hakuna Matata lessons.

Step 2: Build a Crafting Station

To do this, you need to make a Crafting Station. The required materials are listed below:

  • 4 Jungle Stones
  • 4 Jungle Wood
  • 4 Red Jungle Leaves

All of these can be found in the Lion King Realm, so there’s no need to head back to the Valley. They all look like traditional sticks and stones, and the Jungle Leaves are best found on the ground, along with the other items.

Step 3: Craft a Fake Lion Mane

To craft a Fake Lion Mane, you’ll need the four Red Jungle Leaves, which you found on the ground in the step before.

Article continues after ad

Just head into your Crafting Table and click on Functional Items. The Red Leafy Mane will be listed at the top. Just tap that and craft your new look.

Dexerto / Gameloft

Now, all you need to do is head into your wardrobe and select the Mane to put it on.

Step 4: Find a crown and make a Vial

Once equipped, follow Timon and Pumbaa into the forest and listen to their conversation. They’ll explain they want you to put your past behind you and create something resembling a crown, so you can break it as a way to let go of that past.

Article continues after ad

To do this, you need to craft an empty vial and fish for a crown.

The Empty Vial is crafted using Sand, which can also be found in the Lion King Realm, so search for the sand then head to the Crafting Table and make the vial.

As for the crown, we found it in golden ripples in the River just by the log you walk along near one of the checkpoints to get back to the Valley, before the mouth of the cave.

Disney Dreamlight Valley crown locationDexerto / Gameloft

Simply fish this up and head back to Timon and Pumbaa. He’ll place it on the stone, and all you need to do is get your Pickaxe out and break it.

Step 5: Throw away your worries and get ready for bed

Follow Timon and Pumbaa over to where you just got the crown, he’ll explain you now need to get rid of all your present worries. To do this, you need to say all your worries to Timon and bottle them into the Empty Vial you crafted in the previous step. Then just place it into the river.

Head back to the camp with them and prepare for bed by shoveling up the leaves around the camp. When that’s done, say goodnight and lie on your bed while they talk.

How to complete Relax! quest

Step 1: Craft a Relaxing Hammock

Wake up and chat with Pumbaa who will instruct you to make a relaxing hammock for your next task.

A Relaxing Hammock can be crafted by using the following ingredients:

  • Six Vines
  • Two Sticky Sap

You’ll find Vines on the ground around the Realm. They need to be dug up, but one Vine produces two of the materials you need, so you won’t need to find six to dig.

Article continues after ad

Sticky Sap is found on the trees around the Realm. Head over to trees with a yellow substance on it and interact, that’ll give you the Sticky Sap you need.

With that, head to the crafting table and make your new Hammock. As per, it’ll be under Functional Items. Then, simply sit on it and chat with Pumbaa again.

Step 2: Test out the napping spots

Next, Pumbaa will ask you to test the perfect napping spots around the Realm. You’re looking out for leafy chairs. We’ve detailed where we found them all below:

Article continues after ad

Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to chat with Pumbaa who will tell you to choose the best napping spot. We suggest choosing the one near the camp, as it’s closest to where you are when you chat with Pumbaa.

Step 3: Water-dried mud piles

After chatting with Pumbaa, you’ll need to water nearby dried mud piles. The piles themselves are in the same location you are, so you won’t need to go far.

Next, just run through the mud with Pumbaa and head back to the Jungle Camp.

Cook Roasted Jungle Fireflies

The next step is to cook up some (apparently) delicious Roasted Jungle Fireflies. To do so, you’ll need three Jungle Fireflies. They’re scattered around the Lion King Realm, so it’s worth searching. All we’re told is that the locations are: Near the Camp, Near the River, and Near the Oasis.

The bugs look like the image below, and are thankfully a little slower than the books in Belle’s unlock quest!

With that, head to the nearest cooking station, which is just past the cave by the river, and cook up Roasted Jungle Fireflies. Then hand them to Pumbaa, take a photo of the three of you, and head to your leafy bed again.

How to complete Where’s Pumbaa

Step 1: Find Pumbaa

Pumbaa’s gone missing, so it’s up to you to find him. We found him stuck in a log in the Oasis, which is where you first spawn.

Dexerto / Gameloft

Check in on the poor guy and then chat with Timon. After this, take a picture of Pumbaa to work out a better way to free him. Timon will discover that the best way to do this is to make a super slippery oil to free him.

Article continues after ad

Step 2: Make Super Slippery Bug Oil

The best way to make this is to find two Yellow, one Blue, and one Red Oily Bug. These are found in rocks in the jungle. Though not all house the bugs, so grab your pickaxe and break any rocks you see. We found ours by the River and the Oasis.

For this, you’ll need to cook up some Super Slippery Bug Oil, which requires one Green Bug Oil, and one Orange Bug Oil.

Article continues after ad

To craft these, you’ll need to collect Red, Yellow, and Blue Oily Bugs, and mix them in the cooking station in the following order:

  • Green Bug Oil: Yellow and Blue Oily Bugs
  • Orange Bug Oil: Red and Yello Oily Bugs

Then, all you need to do is combine these in the same cooking station and hand the oil over to Timon. He’ll enchant your watering can so you can free Pumbaa by pouring the water on him.

Step 3: Craft a Reinforced Plunger

Unfortunately, none of those efforts worked, so you need to chat with Goofy for ideas. Head back to the Valley and locate the character.

Article continues after ad

He’ll give you a plunger, but it’s not enough to free Pumbaa. For that, you’ll need a Reinforced Plunger.

Reinforced Plunger DDVDexerto / Gameloft

Unlike the Hammock or the Fake Lion Mane, the Reinforced Plunger requires materials from the main Valley. You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 10 Iron Ingots
  • 10 Rope
  • 5 Tourmaline
  • 15 Hardwood

Iron Ingots are best found by mining the rock spots in the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights, Vitalys Mines, and the Sunlit Plateau. Alternatively, you can buy fully formed Iron Ingots from Kristoff’s stall. Once you have the iron ore, craft it with coal and you’ll have Ingots.

Article continues after ad

Interestingly, Rope requires a little bit of fishing. You’ll need eight fiber to make one rope, so 80 fiber in total. To make fiber, you need to fish up Seaweed, which is found outside of fishing spots on Dazzle Beach. One Seaweed makes five fiber, so in total you need 16 Seaweed to craft 10 Rope.

Tourmaline is found in mining spots in the Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau. It’s a pink-colored gem and can be a little tricky to find. So coat your pickaxe in Miracle Pickaxe Polish to get more luck.

Article continues after ad

Lastly, Hardwood is found lying on the ground in the Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Glade of Trust. It’s pretty easy to find, but we recommend heading near any trees you’ve placed, as most spawn under those. If you’re struggling to find any, plant more trees!

With that crafted, head back to the Lion King Realm and free poor Pumbaa.

Shortly after, Timon will realize the importance of friendship and how useful it is to have them around to help. He’ll chat with Pumbaa and the two will agree to join the Valley.

Pumbaa Friendship quests

Pumbaa Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Level 2 friendship quest: Something’s Off

Pumbaa seems troubled after clearing out Chez Remy by just walking in, he’s worried history will be repeating itself from his gassy younger days. It’s up to you to see why the villagers left as soon as poor Pumbaa entered.

Step 1: Speak to Daisy and Elsa

When you speak to Elsa, she’ll tell you Pumbaa’s breath is very strong. Daisy will explain that she left because “Pumbaa and Timon both eat like wild animals” but will also reveal that it was because of his aroma.

Article continues after ad

Next, speak to Remy who will reveal that the only food Pumbaa has been eating is cheese, and it’s clearly not agreeing with him. So, you’ll need to see if he will eat something other than cheese.

Step 2: Cook up better meals

Remy will suggest cooking three different meals for Pumbaa:

  • Roasted Asparagus
    • Asparagus
    • Canola
  • Onion Puffs
    • Onion
    • Egg
    • Cheese
  • Minnie’s Gingerbread Cookies
    • Ginger
    • Wheat

Asparagus is found at Goofy’s stall in the Frosted Heights. The seeds cost 150 Star Coins and take 2 hours and 15 minutes to grow. Canola is found in the Forest of Valor and takes 35 minutes to grow. Onions are also found in the Forest of Valor, but they take 1 hour and 15 minutes to grow.

Article continues after ad

Egg and Cheese are both brought to Remy’s restaurant, for 220 Star Coins and 180 Star Coins respectively.

Lastly, you’ll be able to find Wheat at Goofy’s stall in the Peaceful Meadow. This one only takes 1 minute to grow. Then, Ginger is found in the ground in the Forgotten Lands. Just look for some green stalks.

Step 3: Craft a Luxury Mud Bath

Feed Pumbaa the Onion Puffs, as a test to see if he can tolerate Cheese. Unfortunately, he can’t as he’ll complain his stomach hurts. After trying another food, your character will try and provide some advice regarding his smells.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Luxury Mud BathDexerto / Gameloft

The first step is to craft a Luxury Mud Bath. To do this, you’ll need the following materials:

  • 8x Soil
  • 10x Sand
  • 12x Dry Wood
  • 15x Stone

Soil is best found by digging up the ground on grass, while Sand is found the same way, just on Dazzle Beach.

Players can find Dry Wood in the Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Frosted Heights. It looks like a white version of traditional wood. Lastly, Stone is found by mining rocks around the Valley. It isn’t too rare so you should be able to get some with ease.

Article continues after ad

Then, head to a crafting table and create the Luxury Mud Bath. Once that’s done, place it down in the Valley and speak to Pumbaa.

Step 4: Speak to Villagers about brushing Pumbaa’s teeth

With Pumbaa off having a bath, you’ll need to speak to Minnie, Beast, and Sulley for a breath freshener, toothbrush, and toothpaste respectively. Locate these characters in your valley and chat with them.

Once you’ve spoken to them, you’ll need to grab some Mint from the Frosted Heights, which is peaking out from the ground like Garlic. Then, head into the Beast and Sulley’s home for the toothbrush and toothpaste.

We’ve provided their locations in the images below:

Once you’ve found the items, hand them over to Pumbaa and walk with him into Chez Remy. After hearing from him and Timon, the quest will end.

Level 4 friendship quest: Fine Arts for Warthogs

After reaching level four friendship with Pumbaa, he’ll ask you about starting up a new hobby, now he’s all clean and smelling nice. While you’ll suggest mining, fishing, or other simple hobbies, he’ll explain that he wants to do something artistic as Rafiki does with his paints, prompting you to suggest pottery.

Step 1: Start a pottery class and craft four pottery wheels

Naturally, Pumbaa asks Timon to be there, so you have to speak to Timon to invite him and chat with Rapunzel for advice on hosting the class.

Pottery Wheel Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Once you speak to Rapunzel, she’ll explain that you need some Pottery Wheels. For that, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 2 Tinkering Parts
  • 5 White March Milkweed
  • 7 Red Bell Flowers
  • 8 Clay
  • 8 Hardwood

Tinkering Parts are crafted from two Iron Ingots at your Crafting Station. Thankfully, those two Iron Ingots make three Tinkering Parts, so you only need to craft once.

Article continues after ad

White March Milkweed can be found in the Glade of Trust, it’s got a sort of blueish tint to it which can be a little misleading. As for Red Bell Flowers, you’ll find these growing in the Forest of Valor.

Clay is best dug up in the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and the Forgotten Lands. We recommend heading to the Glade of Trust, finding the nearest dirt patch, and digging as much as you can.

Article continues after ad

Hardwood is located on the ground in the Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Glade of Trust. They’ll be underneath trees, so if you can’t find any, plant some around and wait a few minutes. Or break the large stumps in the Forest of Valor.

Once you have the ingredients, head to a Crafting Station, click Furniture, and craft the four Pottery Wheels.

Step 2: Start the class

Give the pottery wheels to Pumbaa and he’ll ask you to invite Timon, Simba, and Nala. So find these characters in your Valley and chat with them. Timon will take a little convincing but he’s more than happy to give it a try.

Pottery Class Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Once you’ve spoken to them all, head inside Pride Rock to start the class. Pride Rock is Simba and Nala’s home. Once inside, speak to Pumbaa and chat with the other villagers to help their creations along.

Step 3: Prepare for the art show

After the items have been made, Pumbaa will want to show them off by hosting an art show. Speak to Scrooge McDuck. He’ll explain that he’s more than happy to help, but asks for a trade before giving you the displays.

Article continues after ad

For that you’ll need:

  • 1 Orange and Red Marsh Milkweed
  • 3 White Bell Flowers
  • 3 White & Red Hydrangea
  • 3 Citrine
  • 4 Emerald

Orange and Red Marsh Milkweed is found in the Glade of Trust, White Bell Flowers are in the Forest of Valor, and White & Red Hydrangeas are located on Dazzle Beach. They have a sort of pink hue to them so don’t be fooled.

You’ll then find Citrine in mining nodes around the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau. Emeralds are best found in the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust, so we recommend sticking there for your mining.

Once you’ve collected all the items, head back to Scrooge and make the trade.

Step 4: Put on the art show

After speaking to Pumbaa, you’ll need to set up the art show by placing down the four pillars and the pottery displays. Where you do this and how you do this is up to you. Once placed, follow Pumbaa and speak with him.

You’ll then be gifted your very own pottery wheels and the quest will end.

Level 7 friendship quest: Down to Earth

Timon and Pumbaa spotted a purple star, which foretells the coming of a rare meteor shower. To celebrate this, the pair want to prepare and deliver pamphlets to the other members of the Astronomy Club so they don’t miss anything.

Article continues after ad

Step 1: Craft Meteor Shower Pamphlets

Meteor Shower Pamphlet recipeDexerto / Gameloft

To make four Meteor Shower Pamphlets, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 5 Pink Houseleeks
  • 8 Red Bromeliad
  • 10 Dry Wood

Both Pink Houseleeks and Red Bromeliads are found in the Sunlit Plateau, so head over there and grab your flowers, and Dry Wood for an easier time finding the resources.

Dry Wood is located in the Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Frosted Heights. It’s a lighter color of wood and is primarily found underneath trees, so if you can’t find any, add more trees to your biome.

Article continues after ad

Once you’ve crafted these at your nearest Crafting Station, you need to hand the pamphlets out to Wall-E, Prince Eric, Buzz Lightyear, and Tiana. Find them in your valley and speak to them. Once you’ve done this, chat again with Pumbaa and he’ll give you a telescope to place in the Valley. It doesn’t matter where you place it.

Step 2: Head to Skull Rock

telescope memory Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Once you’ve placed it down, interact with the telescope to reveal one-third of a memory. This one shows off Skull Rock, a highly coveted location throughout the game’s many updates.

Article continues after ad

Pumbaa will explain that this could be the location of a meteorite. So, head over to Dazzle Beach and pick up the burning meteorite. Once you do so, another memory will appear.

This time, you need to head over to the Forest of Valor.

If you go up from the Plaza, head into the forest and go across the bridge on your left. Then turn left again and look in the bottom left hand corner. The meteorite will be there.

Article continues after ad

Naturally, interacting with the meteorite will produce a new memory. This one showcases the Sunlit Plateau, but more specifically the Elephant Graveyard side, where Scars home in (unless you moved it).

We suggest heading to the Sunlit Plateau from the Forgotten Lands, as it appears right at the border of the two, on the east of the Forgotten Lands.

Step 3: Repair the Meteorite

After finding the three pieces, you’ll be able to repair the meteorite and display it for the rest of the Astronomy Club.

Article continues after ad
Meteorite in Glass recipe Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

To do this, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 3 Meteorite Fragments
  • 3 Gold Ingots
  • 12 Glass

The Meteorite Fragments should already be in your inventory so there’s no effort there. As for the Gold Ingots, you’ll need Gold Nuggets and Coal. Coal is found in all mining spots or Kristoff’s Stall, and Gold Nuggets are located in the Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Frosted Heights, all in mining ores. If you mine for Gold, you’ll find enough Coal.

Article continues after ad

Glass is crafted from Sand, which can be dug up on Dazzle Beach. You’ll need five Sand and one Coal for one Glass, so gather 10 Coal and 60 Sand.

Step 4: Commemorate the meteor shower

With that, head to the crafting station and craft the meteorite. You’ll then need to display it, place down the meteorite, a rug, and six chairs. You can do this anywhere in the Valley.

With that done, just snap a picture and listen to Timon and Pumbaa talk about the meteorite. Then, just chat with Pumbaa and your quest will be complete.

Timon Friendship quests

Level 2 friendship quest: Old Enemies

Once you reach level 2 friendship with Timon, he’ll ask you to help improve the look of Pride Rock, which almost feels like he’s scared of something. Though he won’t say what yet.

Step 1: Turn Pride Rock into a jungle oasis and wait

After speaking with Timon, you’ll be given a variety of new jungle furniture to place around Pride Rock. Make sure you place it close to the home, or it won’t be counted.

Decorating Pride Rock Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Once it’s all placed, speak to Timon, who will reveal that his fear stems from the number of predators around that will “eat that meerkat and warthog.”

Article continues after ad

After chatting, your character will decide it’s wise for Timon to wait and get used to the valley, meaning you need to wait for 15 real minutes until the next step.

Step 2: Calm Timon’s nerves

After the 15 minutes is up, you’ll be able to speak to Timon, who unfortunately let his fear get the best of him. He’ll reveal that he teamed up with Vanellope to leave a trap in Scar’s home.

Destroy Scars trap Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Head over to Scar’s house and use your pickaxe to destroy the trap. Then, apologize to Scar and remind Vanellope that Scar is a friend, not an enemy.

Next, chat with Timon and try to rid him of his fears.

Step 3: Craft a board game and cook Dreamlight Ice Cream

To make him feel more at ease, you’ll need to chat with Pumbaa, who suggests setting up a board game night with some delicious Ice Cream.

Board Game Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

To make the Board Game you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 12 Softwood
  • 3 Glass
  • 1 Gold Ingot

Softwood is extremely easy to get, it can be found all over the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. Alternatively, you can always remove small or large tree stumps in the Forest of Valor, which will provide softwood.

Article continues after ad

Glass is crafted rather than found. For this, you’ll need five Sand and one Coal Ore. Simple dig around in Dazzle Beach and you’ll quickly find enough. Alternatively, you can buy glass for 50 Star Coins at Kristoffs Stall, or Sand for 8 Star Coins.

Lastly, a Gold Ingot is found by combining five Gold Nuggets with one Coal Ore. Gold is located inside mining nodes around the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands. Simply grab your pickaxe and mine.

Once you’ve done this, head to the nearest crafting table and create the Board Game.

Dream Ice Cream Disney Dreamlight ValleyDexerto / Gameloft

Then, for the Dreamlight Ice Cream, you’ll need to open up the recipe book and use the following ingredients:

  • 3 Dreamlight Fruit
  • 3 Milk
  • 3 Slush Ice

Dreamlight Fruit will only be available to you if you’ve completed Simba’s third friendship quest. Once you’ve done so, you can pick the fruit off the large trees located in the Sunlit Plateau, unless you’ve previously moved the trees.

Milk and Slush Ice are found at Chez Remy, and cost 230 Star Coins and 150 Star Coins respectively, they’re simple to get hold of.

While you’re in Chez Remy, head over to the cooking pot, put in the ingredients and make three Dreamlight Ice Creams. Then, head over to Timon and set up the Board Game in your Valley. After speaking to Timon, the quest will be complete.

Level 4 friendship quest: Curious About Critters

Timon wants you to snap some photos of critters around the Valley, but things quickly take a weird and mysterious turn.

Article continues after ad

Step 1: Get a recording device

Fishing for Batteries in DDV

To record the critters, you’ll need a recording device. Have a word with Buzz and Scrooge to see if they’re willing to lend you a recording device.

  • Scrooge doesn’t have a recorder for sale, but he suggests fishing for a Rusted Recorder in a pond in the Forest of Valor.
  • Buzz mentions that he lost some Batteries and Electronic Parts in the river there too.

Head over to the Forest of Valor and look for three golden ripples in the river. One should get you the Rusted Recorder, another will snag you the Soaked Batteries, and the third will give you some Electronic Parts.

Once you’ve got all three pieces, go to a Crafting Station to put together the Recording Device, then take it back to Timon.

Step 2: Record critters for Timon

After chatting with Timon, he’ll ask you to record a specific type of critter. The options can change each time you play, so it’s a good idea to keep a list of all the critters in Disney Dreamlight Valley handy. However, one thing that stays the same for everyone is that you’ll need to find “a talking dragon,” which is, of course, Mushu.

Step 3: Take pictures inside the homes of the fiercest neighbors in the Valley

Ursula and Scar DDVDexerto/Gameloft

Next, Timon asks you to snap photos inside Pride Rock, Scar’s Cave, Beast’s Castle, and the Cursed Cave on Dazzle Beach. In the Cursed Cave, you’ll catch an interesting conversation between Ursula and Scar.

Step 4: Look for evidence

Timon wants you to check out the Giant Willow, Scar’s Cave, and Ursula’s Beach Cave to see what you can find to incriminate those two.

  • You can find a yellow-ish note inside Ursula’s Cave, right by the water.
  • In the Glade of Trust’s Giant Willow, you can find another note next to Mother Gothel’s bed.
  • Inside Scar’s Cave, there’s a third note right in front of the entrance.

After you report your findings to Timon, you’ll find out that he’s been doing some digging of his own. He concludes that the only way to catch them is by getting video evidence of their interactions. So, head over to the Vitalys Mines and take a photo of Scar and Mother Gothel inside

Step 5: Buy a Giant Projector from Scrooge

Let the Forgotten know what you’ve discovered. It turns out their secret meetings are all about… poetry? Timon thinks this is hilarious and wants to expose them using a projector.

Give 1000 Star Coins to Scrooge to get the Giant Projector. Once you’ve set it up in the Valley, take a selfie with all the guests and listen to their conversation.

Step 1: Gather materials

DDV materials for TimonGameloft

First, you’ll need to collect Softwood, Gold Ingots, and Glass. If you don’t have enough glass, you can craft some using Sand. After gathering everything, take a picture of Timon to progress.

  • 24 Softwood: You can find Softwood in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Ancient’s Landing
  • 4 Gold Ingot: You can craft 1 Gold Ingot with 5 Gold Nuggets and 1 Coal Ore.
    • You can mine Gold Nuggets from the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten lands.
  • 24 Glass
    • You can craft Glass with 5 Sand, which you can dig from Dazzle Beach.

Step 2: Craft Timon’s billboards

signs for timonGameloft

Now, craft four billboards using the materials you gathered. Place them in four locations:

  • Meadow
  • Dazzle Beach
  • Sunlit Plateau
  • Forest of Valor

Use the furniture mode to position them however you like – they look pretty cool, so take your time placing them in good spots!

Step 3: Track down Simba

Next, head over to Pride Rock to talk to Simba. Timon will give a motivational speech, but his leadership won’t be as well received as he hopes.

Article continues after ad

Step 4: Cook for Anna and Elsa

Timon’s idea of leadership includes making some questionable dishes for Anna and Elsa. You’ll need to gather unique ingredients from several locations:

  • Secret Chamber in the Frosted Heights: This is the Secret Cave where you met Olaf. Here, look for Night Mushrooms and Night Thorn Nuts, both of which will be right by the entrance.
  • Cursed Cave: This is the cave on Dazzle Beach where you met Ursula. Here, look for Unforunate-Fish Bones just lying around.
  • Sunlit Plateau River: This river is in the Sunlit Plateau. Look for golden ripples to find Clay-Soaked Salt.

Once you have all these weird ingredients, you’ll need the regular ones:

  • 1 Chili Pepper: Purchase seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau or the Glittering Dunes.
  • 1 Cucumber: Purchase seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Frosted Heights.
  • 1 Lettuce: Purchase seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow
  • 1 Milk: Purchase it from Chez Remy’s Pantry.
  • 2 Tomatoes: Purchase seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach or the Wild Tangle.

When you’re ready: craft the dishes: a Glowing Purple Salad for Anna and an Unfortunate Fish Soup for Elsa. Deliver them to the sisters, but don’t be surprised if they’re not thrilled.

Step 5: Collect fireflies for Moana

Now, collect fireflies from the Lion King Realm and deliver them to Moana.

  • The first firefly is in the second area of the Lion King realm, right by the log bridge.
  • The second firefly is near the Makeshift Crafting Table, in the third area.

Once you have got them all, bring them to Moana. Again, she’s not overly impressed, but you’re doing your best.

Step 6: Treasure hunt with Donald

donald's treasure chest ddvGameloft

Finally, help Donald and Scrooge with a treasure hunt. Examine the treasure map in your inventory and use it to spot the marked locations on Dazzle Beach:

  • Treasure chest 1: Where Dazzle Beach starts to merge with the Glade of Trust, you’ll find the first treasure.
  • Treasure chest 2: Right outside the Cursed Cave you’ll spot the second treasure.
  • Treasure chest 3: Use Prince Eric’s raft to reach Ariel’s island. Here, you’ll find the treasure right in front of a barrel.

When you spot the treasure chests sticking out of the snd, use your shovel to dig. Once you have them all, report to Donald, who isn’t super happy with the news either.
