A recently-shared outfit in Elden Ring has the community in hysterics, being dubbed the “Dung Beetle” outfit.
Elden Ring carries on the tradition of some, well, unique armor that can be worn by your character in a FromSoftware game.
While providing plenty of actual usefulness in the game, these pieces of armor are more goofy-looking and have become fan favorites since the game’s release in 2022.
One such armor combination has emerged online, and the Elden Ring community can’t stop laughing at it, even giving it a humorously gross name.
Elden Ring fans love “Dung Beetle Build”
The outfit was shared on the Elden Ring subreddit, where the player asked the community: “Do you like my drip?”
They include a photo of their character, wearing one of the most absurd outfits. On their body, they wear the fleshy Godskin Noble armor, with their helm appearing to be a Scarab.
The top response to the outfit sums up the community’s feelings about it perfectly: “I’ve never seen something so ugly yet so beautiful at the same time.”

It is clear that the Elden Ring fans are loving this creation, despite how objectively hideous it might be, with one user saying, “This had me howling, I’m sorry. Your drip is on point, keep it up, thank you for the laugh.”
One fan points out how if there were an NPC with this outfit on in the game, they would quickly become one of the fanbase’s absolute favorites.
Some are commenting on how it’s such a bad look, that it becomes impressive with how low they’ve gone:
“Low-key impressive, I genuinely don’t think there is a combination in this game that could look worse.”
It is a very entertaining post and the Elden Ring community is eating it up, raising the already-high vibes as they eagerly await the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
