Austin McBroom has sparked concern after revealing he’s moved into an RV right outside his recently divorced wife’s house.
Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz shocked the internet after announcing their divorce on January 11, 2024 — cementing the end of their YouTube channel, The Ace Family.
The husband and wife duo had been running the family channel since 2016 but saw numerous controversies during their time in the limelight. McBroom faced several cheating allegations and in 2022, the couple revealed their plans to leave YouTube.
Then early January 2024 came news of the pair’s divorce, with Paiz citing “irreconcilable challenges” as the reason for their split. McBroom’s behavior since the news, however, has some viewers concerned.
First, he was called out and mocked for a series of “embarrassing” Snapchat posts, but after revealing he purchased an RV to live outside of Paiz’s house, some are beginning to question if all is well.
In a video reposted to TikTok account ‘_vidz_00‘, McBroom updated viewers on his living situation and explained how he wanted to live as close as possible to his three children, whom he shares with Paiz.

Calling it a “temporary solution” and “the best that [he] can do for now”, McBroom revealed he had purchased a motorhome and parked it on the side of the street directly opposite Paiz’s house.
“I’m happy with it. And as long as they’re happy and I’m happy, that’s all that matters,” he said. A follow-up video showed McBroom offering viewers a tour of the RV, with him reiterating that the situation was temporary and simply to be closer to his kids.
Despite his insistence surrounding his intentions, viewers called the situation “weird” and “scary.” Some even doubted whether it was real, claiming McBroom’s video was a publicity stunt or prank and asking whether the videos were satire.
“If this was really mutual, I believe Catherine would let him live inside,” one person wrote. Another said, “In all seriousness, she really should get a restraining order against him.”
