Dillon Danis announced as Logan Paul’s next opponent
First teased all the way back in July, the next Misfits x DAZN influencer boxing event was soon revealed to be the ‘Prime card.’ Named after their joint business venture with Prime Hydration, both KSI and Logan Paul were announced as co-headliners for the combat sports spectacle on July 28.
Initially, opponents for the rivals turned business partners were kept under wraps. Though days later it was revealed KSI would be stepping in against undefeated Tommy Fury, while Paul would be squaring off against former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis.
Set to take place on October 14 at the Manchester Arena, this now highly-anticipated event will mark Paul’s first combat sports contest in over two years, following his exhibition with Floyd Mayweather.
Meanwhile, Danis laces up boxing gloves for the first time ever after a four-year absence from the MMA cage.
Dillon Danis begins typical trolling antics
Although Danis has been absent from competition over those years, he certainly hasn’t been quiet online. Far from it, in fact, as Danis has been linked to multiple other fights in recent months – including one against KSI at the start of the year – though has ultimately pulled out from them all for various reasons.
Now, with a specific pull-out clause in place, and this clash against Paul seemingly locked in, it didn’t take long for Danis to begin his usual antics on social media.
It started with some initial jabs at his opponent, poking fun at past scandals while seeking a date on the IMPAULSIVE podcast. Just days after the floodgates opened and Danis quickly claimed he was already being threatened with legal action from Paul as a result of the trash talk.
Things ramped to a completely different level when Danis began targeting someone else. Rather than focusing the bulk of his online hostility towards the man he’ll actually be fighting come October 14, Danis instead pivoted to focus much of his trolling on Nina Agdal.
Dillon Danis targets Logan’s partner Nina Agdal
As the beef continued heating up, Danis gained more traction than ever when sharing pictures of Paul’s fiance Nina Agdal. Dozens of photos were circulated online, some real, some clearly doctored, of the model appearing with various other male celebrities. The intention being to reveal possible former relationships and supposed physical entanglements.

In light of these numerous posts, Danis soon went on to claim he’d already caused infighting between the couple. “It’s, you know, trouble in paradise,” he said at the time on the FULL SEND Podcast.
On August 20, however, tensions reached their boiling point. Danis suggested he had obtained a particularly explicit image of Agdal, one that if shared online, would see the Prime card “canceled.” “This picture is like a nuclear bomb. The damage it would do would be irreparable,” he claimed.
“If I dropped this pic, it would end the fight, end his engagement, and I might even find myself in jail.”
A handful of divisive social media figures have allegedly been shown the picture in question. For one, Andrew Tate chimed in, agreeing with the severity of the fallout should it ever surface on the internet. Next was Adin Ross who argued the “nuke” photo was taking things “too far.”
For the time being, no one else quite knows the exact contents of said picture, though all the teasing has certainly benefitted Danis. The ceaseless trolling across social media has pulled in over 2 billion views on Twitter alone, and we’re still more than a month out from the fight itself, should it still go ahead.
Nina Agdal files lawsuit against Dillon Danis
As a result of the onslaught, Agdal filed a lawsuit against Danis on September 6. The model claimed she had suffered “humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm” in light of Danis’ harassment online.
The lawsuit alleges Danis, or an associate of Danis “hacked” her Snapchat account to unearth an old video that has since been shared to millions of views on Twitter. Agdal is reportedly seeking “no less” than $150,000 in damages to begin with, but there’s more to it than just financial ramifications.
A temporary restraining order was also filed against Danis simultaneously, one Agdal hopes would prevent him from sharing any further explicit images online. This restraining order was expedited through the legal system and granted on September 7.
“Ordered that pending the September 12, 2023 hearing and until further Order of the Court, Defendant and all persons in active concert or participation with him are enjoined from posting sexually explicit photographs of the plaintiff on the internet without her consent,” the order reads.
“She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time,” Danis followed up publicly shortly after the news broke. “The fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop. F*** the system, come and get me. Logan Paul is a dead man walking.”
And that gets us to today, where the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight seemingly hangs in the balance. Should it be called off, former UFC fighter Mike Perry is waiting in the wings as a backup option to face Paul.
Though will that be necessary? Will Danis put a stop to his trolling and ensure the fight goes ahead? How will Paul respond from here? It’s all a waiting game for now but rest assured we’ll update you here with any further developments in the lead-up to the October 14 event.
