An article in the San Diego Union-Tribune revealed more details concerning the shooting of Twitch streamer Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm’s Encinitas home.
According to the area’s Sheriff’s Department, the shooter used a BB gun, knocking out the window of a Porsche Sedan and shattering an upstairs window in the Doc’s home.
The shooter was suspected to have shot from a nearby park, as told by Lt. Amber Baggs.
The shooting occurred over the course of two separate days, with the first instance being reported at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, September 10, and the second at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
No suspects have yet been named, and police have no indication that the shootings were intentionally targeting the streamer due to his online presence.
The Doc was in the middle of a live stream when the second shooting occurred. Clips of the event were spread throughout Twitch and subsequently the internet at large, where bullets hitting the house are clearly audible.

The Doc appeared to be visibly shaken by this incident and told his viewers that he would have to end the stream.
“I’ve got to end the broadcast right now,” he stated to his audience. “Someone shot at our house, broke the fucking upstairs window. This is the second shot, someone shot yesterday at our fucking house and someone shot again right now. Connected with the house, upstairs.”
The Doc returned the next day and refused to answer questions regarding the incident, but let his viewers know that he was safe and that necessary measures were being taken regarding his safety.
There has been an outpouring of support from his supporters, which now exceed over 2,724,000 followers on Twitch.
