Twitch streaming star Dr Disrespect has revealed his three favorite battle royales – and you might just be surprised by a few of his selections.
As one of Twitch’s most popular variety streamers, Dr Disrespect can usually be found showing off his trademark violence, speed, and momentum in a number of titles – but it is pretty much the first-person shooter genre only.
Over the last few years, as the battle royale genre has exploded in popularity, The Doc has dipped his toes in a number of different games – usually coming out on top but finding something to get annoyed by as well. He’s sworn titles like Fortnite and had issues with PUBG, but now he’s revealed his top three all-time favorites.
During his April 9 stream, The Two-Time was quizzed by a viewer about his favorite battle royales while he was waiting to get into another match of Call of Duty: Warzone.
The Doc didn’t waste any time with his response though, saying: “I’m going to have to go H1Z1, PUBG, and Blackout was… really good.” While he may have shocked some viewers by claiming Blackout made the cut, Dr Disrespect did say that Warzone could have learned from its predecessor.
“I like the gunplay of Blackout. If Warzone had Blackout’s gunplay, oh, it would be the most perfect battle royale,” The Doc added.

Some fans were clearly surprised by the inclusion of Blackout, reminding the streamer of the infamous armor noises that would ring out when you hit an enemy. Though, he didn’t hold it against the game.
“Yeah, but it felt like the fights were at least honest to me like, this game, it’s weird sometimes man,” the Doc added. “I’m blatantly staring at the guy, I’m firing my bullets first, I’m ahead in the fight and somehow, someway I still lose the fight.”
As more and more battle royales are released, the Doc’s list could very change be in for a shake-up, but we won’t see things like Battlefield’s Firestorm or the short-lived Radical Heights.
Though it might take something special to knock H1Z1 and PUBG out of the top three, they did provide for some magical moments after all.
