Dr Disrespect is well-known for taking cheeky shots at his fellow streamers, and the leader of the Champions Club took aim at Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins after rumors claimed he made $30 million from his move to Twitch rival Mixer.
The Doc is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, but even he played second fiddle to Ninja when he dominated the platform while playing Fortnite, setting records for viewership on the platform and regularly drawing thousands of fans to his channel to watch him and his friends secure victory after victory on the popular battle royale title.
The 28-year-old shocked the world in 2019 when it was announced that he would be ditching Twitch for Microsoft-owned Mixer in an exclusive deal. Ever since, Dr Disrespect has made sure to let his audience know that he’s not a fan, calling out the platform for buying creators like Ninja and shroud, and even creating a parody song about the site.
While booting up his stream on January 30, Doc paused his classic intro inviting his audience into the Champions Club to have a brief conversation with Alex, the ‘person’ Dr Disrespect likes to blame when things go wrong during his broadcast.
“What’s that?” asked the streamer, looking off to the left and laughing. “I know I’ve got more viewers than Ninja right now, and we’re only five minutes into the broadcast. You’re funny, Alex.”
While the cheeky jab seemed to come out of nowhere, the Two-Time quickly revealed he had been reading an article from Forbes which stated that Ninja had received between $20-$30 million for signing his exclusive deal with Mixer, something which didn’t seem to impress him.

“Ninja got paid $20 million to $30 million. It’s funny, huh? I have to comment on it. Boy, when he moved over the rumors were $100 million. Then those rumors went down to $50 million. Now the rumors are $20 million to $30 million.”
“Rumors, wow. They keep on dipping. Let’s f**king wake up ladies and gentlemen. You’re looking at the best, and don’t get it mistaken.”
Of course, with Dr Disrespect you can never take things too seriously, as one of the things that makes the character so popular on Twitch is his outspoken behavior and hilarious roasts, something which his audience have come to expect from the legendary “Blockbuster video gaming champion.”
It isn’t the first time that he’s had something to say about Ninja’s move, though, previously stating that he believed his streaming peer’s viewership would see a sharp decline after the move.
