A possible date for the highly-anticipated boxing match between YouTubers Jake Paul and AnEsonGib may have been set by Eddie Hearn, with the pair slated to face off in early 2020.
The pair have been itching to get in the ring with each other for months, with the content creators involved in a heated confrontation at the London press conference for the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch, which saw the Brit win by split decision in Los Angeles.
Fans went into high alert when both Paul and AnEsonGib posted Instagram stories on December 16 teasing a big announcement, and according to boxingscene.com, the news is that the pair are finally set to enter the squared circle in early 2020.
Speaking to Boxing Scene, Eddie Hearn stated that he was close to finalizing a deal between the two YouTube stars for a bout to take place on January 30 in Miami, Florida.
The fight will act as the co-main event for the DAZN show which will feature a middleweight title fight between Demetrius Andrade and Luke Keeler as the headliner, ousting the Tevin Farmer versus Joseph Diaz super featherweight championship fight out of the co-main spot.

According to Hearn, the bout will be a professional one scheduled for six rounds, which means much like KSI and Logan Paul’s fight, neither man will be wearing protective headgear when the action begins.
Jake Paul was desperate to appear on the undercard of his brother’s Los Angeles pay-per-view after knocking out Deji in Manchester in 2018, but had to accept a future fight against another YouTuber when promoter Hearn appeared uninterested in including him at the Staples Center.
The American has already confirmed that he’s currently in a training camp, working with seven-time champion ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley as he seemingly prepares for his January 30 fight against his British rival.
Of course, the fight has yet to be officially finalized, but it appears that Hearn has finally got Paul and AnEsonGib to step into the ring together, something which many fans have been crying out for.
