Birthdays come but once a year, and for one Fortnite fan, this meant getting an epic present – which left a few big names in the competitive gaming community stunned.
Father James Stumbo uploaded a video to Twitter on April 19, displaying the impressive PC and streaming setup he’d purchased for his son as a birthday gift due to his good grades and perfect attendance at school.
Despite his lack of knowledge on the Fortnite scene, Stumbo researched equipment used by the game’s top players, gifting his son Tfue’s signature Ducky One 2 mini keyboard, Ninja’s DT 990 pro headset, and other impressive equipment.

Stumbo later released a video of his son, Hunter, reacting to the present, which ended in an emotional embrace between the two that had viewers across the internet holding back tears.
I’ve had so many of you wonderful folks asking & saying they can’t find the reaction video I decided to tweet it again. Much love to you all.️ pic.twitter.com/rk0ZFIk7MP

Stumbo himself had humbling responses to the shoutout, writing out a heartfelt thanks to Ninja’s retweet.
“Aww man, I’ve cried all night and you go and say something so sweet like this,” Stumbo replied. “He’s such a wonderful kid. I’m truly blessed. Btw, he loves you and does follow you. I’ve paid his $4.99 for months now.”

This wouldn’t be the first time a young player has been impacted by a major streamer in the Fortnite scene; popular streamer TimTheTatMan gifted one player a brand-new PC in early April, leading to an emotional thank you video from the youngster shortly thereafter.
Fortnite itself is currently undergoing yet another mysterious, in-game event, leaving players stunned at the sudden appearance of a runestone that floats across the map at random.
