Swedish FaZe Clan member Jakob “Teeqo” Swarden has provided an update on his US Visa situation, after the YouTuber had to return to his home country earlier this year.
As with many of the other long time FaZe Clan members, Teeqo’s permanent residence is in the organization’s Calabasas team house, a plush mansion housing some of the Clan’s biggest stars.
However, due to Teeqo’s Swedish background, he requires a Visa to stay in the US permanently – something notoriously difficult to acquire.
In May of 2018, he returned to his childhood home, the place where he first gained internet fame for his Call of Duty trick-shotting videos and his Teeqo brand was born, after his Visa had expired.
As with any Visa application, it is never certain to be approved, regardless of how established the FaZe brand now is, and can take months and months to be approved after applying.
Teeqo made a video on his channel on May 7th addressing his return to Sweden, explaining that although it is certainly easier to be approved than when he initially moved to the US three years ago, nothing was for sure, leaving him in limbo.

Thankfully however, Teeqo had his US Visa re-approved, coincidentally on July 4th, and will now head back out to Calabasas.
GREAT NEWS & on 4th of July to make it even more special
My visa application has been approved & I’m now just a few steps from being able to move back to USA again!
Feels so good! Thanks to everyone reaching out & being here for me every day, YOU’RE THE REALEST!#FaZeUp

Like many of the top FaZe Clan members, Teeqo runs a popular YouTube channel with just short of 2 million subscribers, as well as supporting the organization in its many esports ventures.
He is best known for involvement in Call of Duty but has also taken a keen interest with FaZe’s star studded CS:GO lineup.
With his return to the US, he has also stated he would like to compete in the Friday Fortnite tournaments, which FaZe have been heavily involved in with both pro players and content creators taking part.
