Popular Twitch streamer and Fortnite pro FaZe Tfue encountered a unique glitch during the middle of a stream – which ultimately caused him to play under an alternate account.
Tfue was in the midst of a Fortnite game when his screen kept blacking out, rendering the battle royale unplayable and forcing him to return to the lobby.
The streamer speculated that his game was glitching out due to an overload of friend requests – even though he’d enabled Auto Decline in his game settings.
That’s not all; the influx of friend requests was so great that it ended up completely freezing his game, although notifications were still consistently popping up on the loading screen through Epic’s launcher.
“Dude, I think I’m gonna have to play on an alt account,” Tfue said of the issue. “…my game is legitimately fucking broken.”

In an attempt to dodge the friend request overload, Tfue went as far as to completely uninstall Fortnite and the Epic Games launcher altogether, going on to play under his alternate account.
As it happens, Tfue had left Auto Decline off in the Epic launcher, leading to a major dysfunction that left his account unusable.
However, Tfue returned to Fortnite the very next day, rushing to implement Auto Decline before the friend requests could have a chance to roll in.
It comes as no surprise that Tfue is constantly under a barrage friend requests; as one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, Tfue boasts over five million followers on the platform, with over nine million subscribers on YouTube due to his Fortnite exploits.
