Streamer GiantWaffle is gunning to be the new record holder for most hours streamed in a single month on Twitch and revealed his new setup to help with the challenge.
The popular entertainer began his “Streamvember” quest on November 1, 2019 by talking about the record and how if everything goes according to plan he will have streamed for 570 hours throughout the month.
According to GiantWaffle, he intends to stream for 19 hours a day for 30 days straight. If he can do it, he will pass Runescape player ItsArmand who streamed for 566 hours in August of 2019.
It is almost time to begin Streamvember! About to attempt 30 consecutive 19-Hour streams for the entire month of November. I am fucking hyped!!! Live in 20 minutes. https://t.co/qXBpk39tqM <#

This isn’t GiantWaffle’s first tackle with the record either. Last “Streamvember”, he streamed for over 400 hours in 30 days and has prepared to take the record over the last six months.
The streamer claimed that he is in the best position to take the record. He told his viewers that the record demands only around four hours of sleep a night – something he’s already getting.
He added that while he’s in better shape, he’s not where he wants to be physically and it’s something he can work on the month of streaming.
In addition to playing games, getting in shape and chatting with his viewers, GiantWaffle also revealed he was spending extra money just to enhance his stream for this challenge

“This is not the full setup,” he said while transitioning his stream to show angles from his kitchen and living room with three screens not showing any input. “This is going to be what the overall setup is going to look like for most of this month – there is a lot that I need to do on this setup.”
He then revealed he has a $2,000 worth of equipment still coming in to deal with tech issues.
A bit later on in the stream. He showcased just how quick all the cameras were and was impressed with how smooth and synched everything was.
It’s clear that GiantWaffle is going all out to break the record. Another streamer, Johnny_Now was on track to break the record during his 30 days in a cage challenge, but a series of unfortunate incidents caused him to end his stream earlier than he wanted.
The current record-holder, ItsArmand spent 99% of his 30 days playing Runescape.
