Popular Twitch streamer Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos hasn’t been secretive about his exercise regime – and he’s finally revealed exactly much progress he’s made thanks to his efforts.
Greek opened up an April 27 broadcast with a major announcement, notifying his followers that he’d gone on a serious diet – reaching his lowest weight in over a year.
“I couldn’t have done it without you guys,” Greek said of his success. “You guys have been in there through thick and thin – mostly thick. We are finally under 300 pounds, boys!”
Greekgodx’s weight loss success
Greek’s diet had helped him shed major pounds, bringing the streamer down from 369 pounds to 299 pounds in a year-long period.
“I am officially a part of the under 300 lb club, and it feels too god damn good baby,” Greek Tweeted of his weight loss shortly thereafter.
Thanks for all your support. Without this it would not be possible. This right here is the lowest weight i've been in over 1 year. :relieved: I am officially a part of the under 300lb club and it feels too god damn good baby.:sunglasses::sunglasses: pic.twitter.com/qbtB4BQIJ9

Greek’s goal weight
However, Greek isn’t just on any diet; the streamer claimed that he’d gone on keto (a popular term for the Ketogenic diet), a program that harshly cuts out carbohydrates and sugars to help the body burn pure fat.

Despite his major success, Greek isn’t finished with his weight-loss, just yet; in fact, Greek claimed that he wouldn’t be happy until he reaches his goal weight of 250 pounds – a 49 pound difference from his current weight.
“I’m not happy until I reach 250 pounds, because I’ve still got fat everywhere,” he jokingly said of the matter. “I’m still 300 pounds, nonetheless. It’s not like I’m a skinny guy now.”
Greekgodx has even livstreamed himself exercising on the treadmill during his weight loss regime, resulting in a hilarious fail after his camera fell to the floor during one particularly impassioned rendition of ‘The Lion King’s’ ‘Hakuna Matata.’
Greek’s success follows a dramatic scandal from late March, after viewers from the streamer’s chat harassed a female GTA V roleplayer who had fudged a deal during one of his broadcasts.
However, Greek vehemently denied any involvement with the toxic viewers in question, later apologizing to the roleplayer – who had even cried due to the vitriol in her own stream of the game.
