YouTube star Ethan ‘h3h3‘ Klein revealed during his August 2 podcast that he knows of a “top five” Twitch streamer who is considering making the switch to Mixer following Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins’ surprise move.
On August 1, Ninja announced that he was leaving Twitch after he made a deal with Microsoft to exclusively stream on Mixer.
H3h3 decided to weigh in on the historic move on his ‘h3’ podcast, and also revealed that there could be another major streamer making the switch soon too.
H3h3 defended Ninja’s decision to leave Twitch for Mixer
During the show, the host defended Ninja against the backlash of those who criticized the streamer for being a “sellout” and “betraying Twitch”, and stated: “As if Ninja didn’t do way more for Twitch than they did for him!”
His wife and co-host Hila Klein also added: “He has probably done the most for bringing them to mainstream. He’s been on magazine covers and on Ellen’s show!”
The YouTube comedian compared the adverse reaction to people being loyal to an infamously controversial internet provider in the USA: “That’s like saying “bro, how could you leave for Comcast, after all they’ve done for you!” … What the fuck has Twitch ever done for anyone? They are a platform!”
Could another Twitch streamer be moving to Mixer?
The podcast host then talked about how he believes another major streamer could end up leaving soon, due to what he argues as “penny pinching” from Twitch, and failing to pay their streamers enough.

“They are not going to last, they aren’t going to make it. Because they are short sighted, and don’t know how to keep their talent. Because they are so cheap. Which is shocking, because they are owned by the richest man that has ever walked this earth. They are so rich, he wipes his ass with $100 bills.”
“I have spoken to one of the top five streamers on Twitch, and I’m not going to say his name because it was a private conversation. But he told me that they pinch his ass hard too. And he’s so over it, and doesn’t understand it. Now he’s thinking about going to Mixer too, if he can close a deal with them.”

It’s unclear whether the YouTuber means the “top five streamers” in terms of actual subscriber statistics or whether it was a broader statement about popular users in general, but it could mean that someone like Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek, Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney, or Dr Disrespect might potentially be who he’s talking about.
As the classic saying goes: ‘Only time will tell.’
