‘Too Hot to Handle’ star Harry Jowsey is giving influencers big advice on how to stay financially solid amid his recent investment in popular app VersusGame.
Harry Jowsey is equal parts internet superstar and reality TV heartthrob. Boasting over 4 million Instagram followers and over 4.8 million TikTok fans, it’s safe to say that Jowsey is a bonafide celebrity on both fronts.
In between stepping on set and uploading his latest podcast episode, Jowsey is also juggling a multitude of other responsibilities… including making smart investments.
Most recently, he backed VersusGame, an online platform where participants can earn money by weighing in on yes or no questions like, “Will the Rock and Kevin Hart make a Hollywood blockbuster film this year?”
We got the chance to sit down with Harry to discuss his recent money moves, as well as his financial and life advice for other online stars.
“It’s a really interesting game, to be honest,” Jowsey said of VersusGame. “It’s so easy. You just go up against random people all over the world. There was one day where I was probably playing 7-10 games a day. It’s honestly nuts. …it’s really exciting.”
Although the platform is taking off in popularity, Harry says that he ended up backing the project because he genuinely enjoys it — and so does his entire team.
“I kinda just thought, if I like something this much, I might as well support it,” he explained. “I’m already playing a lot of it, I’m already telling my friends about it. I had a bunch of my friends sign up to play my games. It helps your real-world knowledge, as well. It’s kind of like a fun way to play trivia while making real money.”

“I think it’s got plenty of legs to move, so who knows what direction it could take? There’s some really exciting people that have invested in it that support it. I think it has all the potential to be huge. There’s people all over the world who’ve invested in this company. I hope it does well. I have a feeling it’s gonna be huge.”
Harry also shared some advice for other influencers looking to invest, arguing that social media stars should put their bucks into projects they’re passionate about.
“I think that influencers need to invest in things they’re excited about and things they’re passionate about,” he added. “I’ll only throw money at things that have passionate people behind it and people that are excited about their products.”
“For other influencers or people who just want to try starting to invest in things, just find things you enjoy and that you like. I hate investing in things that I throw money at just to get a return on. I want to throw money at something I’m excited about and that I’m interested in, because I can provide a little bit more than just money, I can give some sort of direction or help micromanage some of the process.”
Jowsey’s latest investment into VersusGame follows his signing to WME earlier this month. For Harry, keeping a close circle of folks around him is paramount to his success — and he encourages other stars to do the same.
“You look at any big person or any big company, and they have an amazing team of people around them supporting them and helping their mission,” he explained. “I have a lot of friends who are influencers who don’t even have a manager or have people in the space, because everyone’s so afraid of getting used or hurt or whatnot. For me, it just seemed like the next best step was to go with a winning team. They knew so much about me. They just got me excited to work with them. They had a very good vision. I felt amazing energy and love from them, right away.”
“It honestly depends on the direction you wanna go. My next goal is to become an actor and to transition into the scripted side of TV and try something new. For me, it made sense for me to jump in and get with an agency. For some other people, maybe they’re just happy making TikToks and whatever else. It really depends. But I think that any investment in yourself is a smart investment.”
