Am I eligible to make money on TikTok?
According to TikTok itself, only the users who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply to the app’s Creator Rewards Program.
- You have to be based in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, or Brazil.
- Only users aged 18+ can apply.
- Only Personal Accounts are eligible. Business Accounts and those linked to political or government organizations do not qualify.
- You must have at least 10,000 followers.
- Your videos need to rack up 100,000 views in the last 30 days before you apply.
- Share original content that is at least one minute long.
- Post original content that complies with TikTok’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
According to TikTok, rewards are calculated based on qualified views and RPM (average gross revenue per 1,000 qualified views). Your RPM can fluctuate depending on a variety of factors, like video engagement, the authenticity of the content, and region in which your video is viewed.
