Snapchat’s popular Quick Add feature allows you to easily look for more users to follow on the app, with the option to reset your Quick Add suggestions.
Snapchat is used by millions of people around the world every day, who use the range of features the app has to connect with their friends and post stories for their followers.
There are a few different ways that you’re able to add people on Snapchat, and one of those ways is Quick Add. As the name suggests, this allows you to quickly add people that you might know from a list of people that are suggested to you.
If you want to see different names on your Quick Add list, we have everything you need to know about how to do that.
How to refresh Quick Add on Snapchat
There isn’t a straightforward way to refresh your Quick Add suggestions, but there are some things you can try to get some new suggestions.
The first thing you can do is clear your cache on the app. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open Snapchat
- Go to your Profile
- Click the gear icon in the top right to go to Settings
- Scroll down to ‘Account Actions’ and then tap ‘Clear Cache’
If this doesn’t help to refresh your Quick Add suggestions, you can also try going through and tapping the ‘X’ next to people’s names in Quick Add, to try and generate some new suggestions.

How often does Snapchat Quick Add refresh?
Snapchat’s Quick Add option gets refreshed automatically every 24 hours. So if you waiting for new options to come up, chances are you won’t have to wait for long.
This means that if you see someone you’re contemplating adding from Quick Add, do it sooner rather than later as they won’t stay there forever.
Can you make someone reappear on Quick Add?
Yes, people may reappear as suggestions on your Quick Add, but you can’t decide which users will appear. This means it’s completely randomized based on your mutual friends and whether or not Snapchat thinks you know that person.
So if you’ve accidentally dismissed someone you wanted to add, try to search for their username as it’s not certain if or when they’ll reappear on your Quick Add again.
