Teamfight Tactics is Riot’s entry into the autobattler genre, with players creating teams of LoL heroes that then face off against compositions created by opponents.
The game officially launched on June 25, with fans of Riot’s ultra-popular MOBA quickly jumping onto the TFT train and sending it skyrocketing up the Twitch charts to become one of the platform’s most popular games.
When is Pokimane’s $15K Teamfight Tactics tournament?
Pokimane has been one of the biggest streamers to broadcast TFT on her channel, and has enjoyed playing the game so much that she has decided to host the first Teamfight Tactics tournament, announcing the news on Twitter on July 2.
“TFT Thursday is official,” wrote the 23-year-old. “[Thank you] to everyone that’s willing to be a part of this, hoping for it to be a great time for streamers and viewers!”
The tournament will take place on Thursday, July 4, kicking off at 10 AM PST / 1PM EST / 6:00 PM BST.

How can I watch Pokimane’s TFT tournament?
The main Teahmfight Tactics Thursday broadcast will take place on Pokimane’s own channel, with players competing in the tournament showing their own POV on their streams.

What is the prize pool structure for the tournament?
The $15,000 Teamfight Tactics tournament will be split into rounds, with prizes award to the top four finishers in each round. Players who finish first in the round will take home at least $500, with the winner of Round 2-4 earning $1,000 for their efforts.
There will also be a $1,500 MVP award for the tournaments best player, while $1,500 is also set aside to purchase gifted subscriptions which will be given out for “good sportsmanship, entertainment value, and participation.”
