Popular League of Legends streamer Christian ‘IWillDominate’ Rivera was left stunned after being banned by Riot Games 17 hours into a 24-hour Twitch stream.
While competitive League of Legends always hold a place at the top of the Twitch viewership charts, when it comes to solo streamers, they don’t quite bring in the same numbers.
Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp leads the way as a number of other streamers like 100 Thieves’ Moe ‘Yassuo’ and Team Liquid’s IWillDominate following behind. Yet, it was IWillDominate who caught the attention with a viral clip that showed him being banned during his August 31 attempt at completing a 24-hour stream while playing on a bought account.
As he finished up another game during his stream and closed in on the 18-hour mark, IWillDominate exited back to the main menu, only to be greeted with an unfortunate, yet surprising message. “Oh, I just got my account suspended,” he said, prompting laughter from his partner for the night ‘RATIRL’.
“Just give up, we just give up. We just give up here,” he added amid more laughter from the European, who couldn’t believe what he was hearing and continued to question if Rivera was being serious.

Of course, the Team Liquid steamer was being serious and saw 17 hours of hard work sent right down the drain as he gave up there and then.
“We actually give up. I just fucking give up,” he continued. “I fucking give up, I cannot play, I will not play. Jesus fucking christ.”
While he may have seen his 24-hour stream plans go up in smoke, the streamer wasn’t too concerned by the ban as it came on an account he had picked up for the broadcast – meaning that his main account wasn’t in trouble.
As it was, one of the purposes of the stream was to see how long it took Riot to hands out a ban to this ‘bought account’. In the end, the streamer was given the reason of suspicious activity for the suspension on his new account.
