Team 10 founder Jake Paul is more than a mere YouTuber: the internet star runs his own company, has dabbled in music, and even registered as a pro boxer with hopes of starting a fighting career.
Following the hyped-up KSI vs Logan Paul boxing rematch, it doesn’t look like Jake is setting aside his hopes for professional fighting anytime soon, as told in a cryptic post on his Instagram story.
While he may have gotten his start on the platform, the youngest Paul brother hinted at moving away from YouTube after fans expressed concern for his future on the website.
Although Paul has joked about “not being a YouTuber anymore” before, it seems like the internet star is actually growing tired of his title, claiming that the site is no longer “exciting” to him.
“…YouTube just doesn’t excite me much anymore,” Paul admitted in response to a fan. “At the end of the day, I’m an entrepreneur when you strip everything away from the ‘Jake Paul’ brand. My mind is on other things currently.”
That’s not all: Paul likewise revealed that he finds YouTube too “controlling” – a sentiment echoed by many other creators on the platform, especially in wake of the child-oriented FTC rulings.

“…it’s time to grow and push my mind into verticals that I haven’t conquered yet, such as boxing!” he continued. “Plus, YouTube is becoming such a controlling and non-rewarding platform to be a part of.”
Although he assured fans that he would continue to create content on the website, Jake isn’t the only Paul brother hinting at stepping back from his status as a YouTuber: Logan Paul expressed similar sentiments earlier this year, dubbing the title “wack.”
“Being a YouTuber is wack,” Logan wrote in an Instagram story. “It’s a very limiting pigeonhole that will not provide the longevity of stardom I’m looking for.”
With both YouTubers gunning for careers in the boxing ring and UFC octagon, it wouldn’t come as a major surprise should they turn toward other prospects. But with UFC president Dana White claiming Logan would “get murdered” in the octagon, the jury is still out on his chances.
