Popular YouTubers Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach and Seán ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin are catching flak for their latest clothing line, which Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem feels is taking advantage of their fans.
Mark and Jack’s clothing line, dubbed ‘Cloak,’ features simplistic designs with neutral colors. The brand’s tagline, “hidden in plain sight,” hearkens back to Mark’s statement on the collection, where he claimed that he wanted the brand to be “something that everyone can identify [with].”
However, it is that very simplicity that has the internet up in arms. Some fans allege that the clothing is too simplistic for the price point – and that a line truly made for “everyone” should be more affordable for the masses.

Drama Alert’s KEEMSTAR spoke up on the issue in a Tweet on November 29, claiming that both Mark and Jack are taking advantage of their fans.

“‘Cause Markiplier and Jacksepticeye, they are kinda taking advantage of their fans, selling plain black, grey clothes with little to no artwork,” he wrote. “’We don’t want to put our logo in your face.’ Fans see it as: We don’t want to have [an] overhead cost, and sell you this HIGH PRICED bs!”

Jacksepticeye stated that the brand is specifically geared toward gamers, much in the style of other specialty brands like LuLuLemon and Nike.
However, that isn’t swaying the brand’s critics, who continue to take issue with its relatively plain design scheme and expensive price.
