Popular YouTuber Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji has finally cleared the air concerning his boxing rematch with rival Logan Paul, setting a projected date for their bout far off from initial speculation.
KSI addressed the rematch in a video on January 2, where he denied Logan Paul’s claims that he had broken the terms of their contract. In fact, KSI stated that Paul’s team was responsible for the lack of a confirmed venue for the bout, alleging that they haven’t yet chosen a state for the rematch, either.
“Since the fight, Logan has been chatting a lot of shit,” KSI said. “I mean, I didn’t expect anything less, to be honest.”
KSI went on to state that confirming legalities for streaming rights and settling distribution options would take around four months to complete, as well as securing a venue during the projected date for the match – which KSI set for November 2019.

While UK gambling site Bet365 has already started taking bets for the bout with a date set for February 27, KSI has clearly decried these rumors, scheduling their rematch over a year away from their initial fight on August 25, 2018.

KSI went on to take issue with Paul wanting their fight to take place on the West Coast, citing the disparity in time zones between the UK and the Westernmost US as a possibility for a major drop in viewership from his British audience.
The YouTuber also mentioned that he would take the majority of 2019 to improve his relationship with his family, likely citing his current feud with his little brother, Deji.
