Those doubting YouTuber Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji ahead of his big boxing rematch with Logan Paul might be forced to think again after footage showing him brutally knocking out a sparring partner was released.
It didn’t end the way either of these two popular internet personalities wanted it to when they were first pitted against each other in August 2018, but the rematch on November 9 – where they won’t be wearing protective headwear – is easily one of the most highly anticipated bouts of the year.
The two boxers are set to face off in a cruiserweight division match at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, with Logan Paul the bookmaker’s favorite to come out victorious. However, KSI has certainly been showing what he’s capable of in training.
Footage of the 26-year-old has been doing the rounds online, after first being posted to The Mayweather Channel on YouTube, showing just how ready JJ is for this big rematch in the City of Angels.
During the brief clip of him boxing, KSI throws a deadly combination of strikes before knocking out his sparring partner – even while they’re wearing protective gear.
Whether or not he will be able to replicate that sort of performance on the big stage remains to be seen, but it’s definitely a huge warning sign for his opponent as they prepare.

Following the brutal knockout, which came in the second round of the fight, professional cutman Jacob ‘Stitch’ Duran had his say on just how impressed he has been with KSI’s performances in the training camp.
“What a way to finish up a training camp. I guess there’s only one word… Devastating. You know, to see the progression that JJ has done since I’ve seen him here in Las Vegas has been night and day,” he said, but what came after that was even more interesting.
Duran also stated that the YouTuber is now “knighted as a fighter” in the run-up to what will be the biggest ever night of boxing, not only for him, but for Logan Paul as well.
Those same sentiments were shared by WKA World Kickboxing Champion Amer Abdallah, who said that the last sparring session was the “exclamation point” as he beat down a much more experienced boxer in the ring to bring his camp to a close.
