YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul have been teasing a boxing rematch ever since their 2018 draw, but will it actually happen? Here’s what we know so far.

It’s been almost a year since Logan Paul and JJ ‘KSI’ Olatunji contested a draw in their Boxing showdown. Since that August 2018 draw, fans have been clamoring to see the pair strap on their gloves and get back into the ring. Both parties have continually teased a second face-off, but nothing has come of it just yet.

Will KSI and Logan Paul fight again?

Despite all the rumors and trash talk, there has been no confirmed date for a second bout between Logan and KSI. The pair had seemingly been slated for a rematch in February 2019, with gambling websites taking bets for February 27.

Yet, that came and went without anything happening. KSI stated that he wanted a rematch in May or the summertime, but as of yet, nothing has happened.

The UK YouTube star has even slammed Paul for ‘dodging’ offers. Yet, Logan responded by telling TMZ: “I’m going to f***ing murder that dude bro, actual murder bro.”

BET365Bet365 was taking bets on the fight happening in February.

Where would KSI and Logan Paul’s rematch take place?

From the get-go, the rumors surrounding the location for the second fight have centered around the United States, with Los Angeles and Las Vegas both touted as possible destinations.

KSI himself told BBC News that he’d love to see it happen in Dubai, but was almost resigned to making the cross-Atlantic trip. With the large majority of KSI’s audience being UK and European based, a West Coast face-off would likely play a factor in viewership considering the time difference.

A fight on the East Coast, somewhere like New York or Miami, would make that time difference a little easier for UK fans to contend with.

However, Logan Paul has even told TMZ that the rematch between himself and KSI will take place in Los Angeles, with the venue being either the Staples Center or The Forum.

He said that the final details for the fight are being “ironed out” – meaning it could take place sooner than some expected. The YouTube star backed that up during his Challenger Games event, when he told heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs that he hoped to get back into the ring before the end of 2019, despite a gruesome hamstring injury.

Despite that, KSI is still yearning for the fight to happen in London – specifically, at the O2 Arena. He tweeted: “If this fight doesn’t happen in the US by the end of the year, then let’s bring it back to the U.K. and fight at the O2 next year”

How to watch KSI vs Logan Paul

Like the last fight, any potential rematch would likely be streamed via YouTube’s pay-per-view system and an offshoot website set up for the match-up.

That first bout was extremely lucrative as it racked up over 1.05 million pay-per-view buys worldwide with an estimated revenue of £8 million or $11 million. With the hype surrounding the rematch, it’s pretty possible that they even eclipse that number – despite likely taking place in the United States.
