Controversial YouTuber Logan Paul is in hot water, after self-proclaimed “slap master” Slap for Cash accused him of faking his viral knockout video from late May – and even challenged him to a boxing match.

While Paul slated their bout for the following Tuesday, it looks like the fight might not happen, after all, as the date came and went without much ado.

However, details have since been released explaining the debacle, thanks to Slap for Cash leaking a few incriminating text messages from Paul’s friend and Maverick member Mike Majlak.

Slap for Cash uploaded screenshots of his conversation with Majlak to Instagram on June 25, where Majlak claimed that they would have to call off the fight, as Paul had an interview with Forbes scheduled for that day.

The “slap master” wasn’t buying Majlak’s explanation, though, claiming that Paul was too “scared” to meet him in the ring.

“You’re scared,” he said in a video on the topic. “Logan Paul is scared. Give the fans what they want. Stop running.”

He went on to tag Paul in several posts shortly thereafter, similarly accusing him of chickening out before their battle.

While Logan Paul has yet to speak out on Slap for Cash’s latest claims, Majlak addressed the debacle in a Tweet that same day, claiming that their bout won’t happen “for months.”

“The [Slap for Cash] fight won’t happen for months,” he wrote of the matter. “You’ll see what we’re working on tomorrow. It’s completely produced and completely groundbreaking. #priorities”

Although Paul claimed that Slap for Cash’s comments on their video “boiled his blood,” it looks like fans will have to wait for their upcoming showdown – although there’s no telling when their battle will actually occur.

For now, Logan is set to face off against rival KSI for their boxing rematch, following their initial bout in August 2018.
