Rapper MGK and his beef with Eminem may be long finished, but he still has a grudge with some of his critics such as YouTuber Adam ‘adam22’ Grandmaison.
Back in 2018, MGK and Eminem were engaged in a rap feud stemming from a tweet about Eminem’s daughter in 2012.
In the song “Not Alike” on Eminem’s 2018 album Kamikaze, the rapper name-dropped MGK and that caused a back-and-forth battle between the two.
MGK dropped “Rap Devil” where he criticized the Detroit rapper’s age and how long it took for him to come back with a response to the tweet.
In response, Eminem released “Killshot” and after that, many pundits deemed the battle to be effectively over. Adam22 released a video saying MGK was “mutilated” in a nearly 14-minute video, and the general consensus agreed with him.
Even though we’re now about a year and a half out from that battle, MGK appears to have a razor-sharp memory, as when he ran into the YouTuber interviewing FaZe Banks, the rapper walked up to Adam and slapped his mic before walking away.

Adam took this opportunity to reopen an old wound and poke a little fun at it.
“MGK not too happy about me saying Eminem won that battle,” he tweeted with a clip of the incident.

While many think MGK lost the battle, the Cleveland rapper has still been doing pretty well for himself. In 2018 alone, he starred in the Netflix film Bird Box and was part of rock band Fall Out Boy’s Mania tour, where he performed his diss track Rap Devil.
In 2019, he released his album Hotel Diablo which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, which isn’t too bad for someone whose career was proclaimed dead by many following his feud with Eminem.
Things between the two rappers have quietened down in 2019, but as we’ve seen with rap battles before, all it takes is a simple tweet to stir something up again.
