Twitch star Matthew ‘Mizkif’ Rinaudo opened up to his audience during his January 11 broadcast, and explained why Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel deserves the success he’s found on the streaming platform.
xQc had one hell of a year in 2019, becoming one of the most subbed channels on Twitch, and gaining over a million followers with his variety broadcasts.
Fellow streaming star Mizkif is a big fan of the Canadian, and explained to his viewers how his “obsession” and work ethic led the Overwatch pro to find success on the platform.
Mizkif says xQc “completely deserves” his success
The streamer was explaining what it takes to be successful on Twitch, before turning towards xQc as an example. “xQc, that guy lives, and similar to me, and I will admit this, I’m obsessed with Twitch and all I do is think about Twitch. xQc is just like that,” he said.
Mizkif praised the Canadian for thinking about the platform on a whole different level then most. “I was talking to him last night, and the things and the way he thinks about Twitch and streaming is insane. How analytical and smart he really is about the whole platform,” he continued.
“He knows so much. And it’s his life. He cares so much about this website, and what he does, and how to grow and how to make sure that people are happy in what he does. He deserves his success completely!” the 24-year-old stated.

The Twitch star saw similarities between himself and the Overwatch pro, stating “That’s how I think as well. I really do hone in on that. Because it makes me happy. I have a huge passion, and so does he.”
He expressed to his viewers how much the medium means to him. “I have a huge passion for Twitch. All I do is live and breathe Twitch, because I love streaming so much. I really do. I love trying to grow, and think of different ideas.”
The streamer then revealed that he never found passion making videos, but instead found it in streaming. “Videos weren’t my passion. They never were. I found my passion in streaming. And it’s something I really do care about,” he finished.
Mizkif’s speech certainly rings true, given that him and the Canadian consistently pull in thousands of viewers a broadcast, and continue to be some of the most viewed channels on the Amazon-owned platform.
As of the time of this article, xQc has amassed a following of over 1.9 million, and even was the number one most subbed channel in October 2019, proving that passion really is everything.
