Popular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif‘ Rinaudo revealed the good that his chat had done after they helped fund a Make-A-Wish child’s visit to Disneyland.
When they aren’t spamming emotes, mocking streamers with their backseat gaming, or dropping terrorizing text-to-speech donations, Twitch viewers can rally around a cause and do some overwhelming good – even if its for someone they don’t know.
That was the case with Mizkif, as he pulled out a heart-warming charity idea to help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish foundation back in August. His chat answered the call, donated over $20,000, and helped make some dreams become a reality – with Mizkif being able to show them the good they had done for one family in particular.
During his October 27 broadcast, the popular streamer took time out from his games and just chatting to show off the thank you that he had received from the family they’d helped.
“You guys brought this kid and he was allowed to go to Disney World and he is suffering from leukemia and ithout you guys, he wasn’t going,” the streamer said, showing off the images of the thank you note.
“It was a last-second thing where we raised the money and just gave it to them and then, now, you made this kid go to Disney World.”

Mizkif wasn’t finished there, though, as he heaped praise on his viewers for helping make a wish come true. “You guys should be very proud of yourselves, because, look at this, there he is,” he added, revealing images of the child’s trip.
The streamer also explained that the family had another thank you in-store, as they wanted to meet him in-person once they got back and settled from the trip.
However, he wasn’t just the only child that Mizkif’s viewers had helped out, so there may be more heart-warming thank yous in the near future.
The moment did, though, show the power of Twitch when it rallies around a cause to make good things happen in the world – even for complete strangers.
