If you’re going to bring a monkey on your Twitch stream, you should probably make sure it’s trained to a point where it won’t literally vomit all over you.
That’s exactly what happened during a live stream featuring Sea of Thieves developers Drew Stevens, Joe Neate and Rare’s video community manager Jon McFarlane.
For some reason, they thought bringing a literal monkey on to discuss the Smuggler’s Fortune update and The Pirate Emporium would be a good idea.
A bit over half-way through the broadcast, the monkey, Antonio literally threw up on McFarlane and even got some on his face in what can only be described as one of the most disgusting things to ever happen on Twitch.
Despite his shirt getting covered with monkey vomit, McFarlane didn’t get up or lash out at the animal. But that wasn’t even the worst of it.
After getting cleaned up with wipe, the monkey took a dump while sitting on the poor video manager’s shoulder. It’s downright gross.
For his part, however, McFarlane handled everything like a pro and even uploaded a picture to Twitter with the animal with the caption “He may have puked but he’s still a little cutie.”

Neate meanwhile joked that having a monkey on was the “best idea ever”.
Sea of Thieves was released on March 20, 2018 as a Microsoft exclusive to moderate reviews, but still receives updates such as purchasable pets, which explains the reason for the monkey.
What's the saying? Never work with children or animals?…

It will be interesting to see what if any action Twitch takes regarding this content being streamed on its platform.
In a 2016 Reddit post, Twitch Support attempted to clear up what was acceptable on its platform. “Cute poop emojis are ok thanks to smartphones. The act of defecation however is not. No defecating and no “shit/shit on” or similar references/depictions,” they wrote.
Where this will fall under is anyone’s guess as it’s unlikely many others have literally had a monkey poop and vomit on them on stream.
