Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff announced his departure from Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag’s 100 Thieves Organization on May 24, but it looks like there was a lot more to the story than just moving back home to Michigan.
NICKMERCS leaving 100 Thieves looked like a much cleaner split than Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney trying to get out of FaZe, but things definitely weren’t as they seemed.
In his first stream back home, NICKMERCS revealed there was a whole lot more than meets the eye and let his viewers in on the whole situation.
NICKMERCS and Nadeshot aren’t cool anymore.
Nick was brutally honest about the split
Nick says the whole reason he was brought out to join 100 Thieves was to grow alongside the organization, something he says didn’t play out the way he wanted it to and it has effectively destroyed his relationship with Nadeshot.
“[Nadeshot] made some promises to me, as a friend, how we were going to do it, how he was going to take care of me,” Nick said. “It just didn’t even happen man, you know? I don’t hate the guy, I definitely don’t hate him, but I don’t like him. Him and I are not cool, we’ll never be cool. I don’t want nothing to do with him, I’ll never do business with him, I’ll never sit down at a table with him ever again.”
It wasn’t all bad though, as Nick did have some positives to say about 100 Thieves, just not a whole lot.
“They doing good work over at 100 Thieves,” he said. “Yeah, but for me, when you give me your word and you promise certain things to me as a friend and a business partner and I put years of time into a thing we basically started and then everything changes, and I don’t get what I was promised, I’m gonna have problems with it.”
He once again reiterates that he and Nadeshot aren’t friends and he doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Nick thinks that some of the fallout with 100 Thieves might have come with Nadeshot’s inexperience with running a company.

“He hasn’t had a lot of experience being CEO and me going through that with him I saw a lot of the stresses that he went through being the CEO,” he said. “It’s tough, it ain’t f*cking easy, man, it’s a lot of new sh*t.”
While Nick acknowledges the stresses and difficulties with running the business, he feels that Nadeshot still let him down.
“I know that sometimes you have to make the tough call, you gotta do it, it’s part of the game, that’s it, you got to make it right and I think he failed to do it with me.”

What’s next for 100 Thieves?
Following NICKMERCS’ departure, the door is now open for another popular creator to join the team.
Jack ‘CouRageJD‘ Dunlop appears to be the next addition to the 100 Thieves team, at least that’s if you put any stock into Ninja’s word.
During a stream on May 24, Ninja let slip that CouRage will be joining Nadeshot’s organization.
This is something that Ninja tried to walk back but fans haven’t bought it.
