YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and Twitch star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins found themselves discussing their most embarrassing livestream slip-ups, as they played together in KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite tournament.
The return of Friday Fortnite has made a splash within the gaming community, attracting all sorts of stars to compete within the tournament in previous weeks such as Tory Lanez, MrBeast and DJ Akademiks.
It was the unlikely duo of Ninja and PewDiePie which caught everyone’s attention, however, as two of the biggest names on the internet linked up to battle it out for the $10,000 prize.
Ninja began highlighting the difference between making YouTube videos and streaming on Twitch, explaining that slip-ups could simply be edited out on YouTube, as opposed to streaming: “If you say something you’re not supposed to, you can edit that out.”
Ninja highlighted that it was among the biggest difficulties with livestreaming for long hours, hinting that PewDiePie knew all too well about the consequences of slip-ups, referencing his infamous PUBG rage: “You stream for 8 hours man and say one thing on accident, I mean, you know a little bit about that.”
The Swedish YouTuber denied that he was ever involved in a controversy, jokingly claiming that he has never said anything that was wrong while livestreaming, “what are you saying right now? I’ve never said anything wrong in my entire life.”

PewDiePie said he was wondering how long it was going to take for Ninja to bring up the topic of his past livestream mishaps.
PewDiePie fired a shot of his own back at the Twitch star, telling him that they would be alright as long as Ninja did not rap while they were streaming, saying, “Just don’t start rapping, then we’ll be fine.” – referencing when Ninja accidentally included a racial slur from rap lyrics he was reciting.
Their tournament run was unfortunately cut short as PewDiePie had to leave early, leaving TimTheTatman to take his place alongside Ninja for the remainder of the competition.
