Despite being a Twitch veteran, Ninja’s real success came after he switched to playing Fortnite Battle Royale, a game that he quickly became the face of and one that has taken over the world this year.
Ninja’s nearest competition for followers on Twitch is Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, a former CS:GO pro that now plays PUBG the majority of the time and has just under four million followers.
Snapping at shroud’s heels is TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, another Fortnite streamer that has seen incredible growth in 2018.
However, with over six million more followers than the man in second place, Ninja’s king of Twitch crown looks set to remain firmly on his head for a long time to come.
