Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins watched older clips from when he first started streaming, and reacted to how “over-aggressive” he was, while also laughing at how much he’s grown.
Ninja is without a doubt one of the biggest streamers in the world, if not the biggest – as the gaming star rose to prominence with his incredible Fortnite skills that attracted millions of viewers. He then turned the industry on its head, when he made the surprise announcement that he was leaving Twitch, and signed with Mixer exclusively for an unprecedented deal worth thousands.
However, during his broadcast on the Microsoft-owned streaming platform on October 26, the Fortnite giant decided to watch a compilation of clips from throughout his career, and it left him surprised at how “aggressive” he could be, while also questioning what his younger self was thinking at the time.
The streaming star was watching clips from his H1Z1 days when the video showed him losing it after being eliminated. As the younger version of himself became hysterical, he reacted to the clip by gritting his teeth. He then broke into laughter when he watched himself scream “f*ck this game!”
“Oh my God!” Ninja exclaimed, groaning as he continued to watch his older videos. The Mixer star showed that he had a good sense of humor though as he recreated a reaction from another clip, and pretended to slam his hand on his desk, before standing up scream in rage – mirroring his older self.
He watched another video where he got eliminated in the battle royale title, and while it at first seemed his younger self was just dishing out the usual trash talk, things then got intense when he ramped things up and exploded in rage.
“This is a little intense,” Ninja stated, before continuing, “Guys, you know, H1Z1 was a much older audience. I was a little aggressive.”

As he continued to watch older clips of him screaming, the Mixer star turned to his audience. “What was going in my head man? Oh my God!” he asked. “I don’t want to know what else I’ll find. Boy howdy guys, simpler times, man!”

The whole thing was in good fun though, and while Ninja took pause at some of his older clips, he seemed to embrace the fact that he’s come a long way from his older streams to becoming the industry-leading giant that he is now. While a guest on the ‘h3 podcast’ in April 2018, the streamer opened up about making an effort to make his streams more “family friendly.”
“My goal is to make it like your classic Spongebob Squarepants, where like, the parents at home can get a dirty joke or something like that, but the kids are completely oblivious” he stated.
