Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was known to go off on a few expletive laden tirades in his earlier streaming days, but recently has switched and cleaned up his act.
It takes just a quick search on YouTube to find Ninja swearing at opponents on previous games he played, but as his profile started to rise by playing Fortnite, he made the decision to cut out cursing entirely.
During a stream on 1st July, Ninja double down on why there are no more curses to be found on his channel.
“I want as many people to enjoy the stream as possible and I’ll I have to do is stop swearing? Sounds good to me. It is also the right thing to do. When I go into other streams and hear the f-bomb every other word in a sentence, it’s just, bleh.”
Ninja has become the most popular streamer on Twitch with over 8.5 million followers, so his philosophy on cursing appears to be paying off.
However there was a time when Ninja had no issues with cursing, even thinking it was the best way to grow a channel.
“Raging and all that stuff, to me at the time, that was the funny thing to do.”

Unfortunately, much like everyone’s favorite indie band that started to play on the radio, some long time fans are upset with the changes.
“Just because I’ve done something to clean up my stream. Now people are like, “Oh, Ninjas changed””
Those hoping Ninja goes back to swearing may be out of luck, but he still wants you in the stream. There will still be rages for you to enjoy, they will just be a little cleaner.
“I still rage. Swearing doesn’t make someone a person.”
